Paul gilbert is a great teacher, an old friend of mine was taught by him at GIT years ago and came out playing like you wouldn't believe. If you want a good teacher out of the best rock star players that are available spend the money and see Paul Gilbert. He also teaches from his home in California.

When he came to Peru (twice) he charged very little to do his clinic, I think each student paid between $100 and $200. This video is from one of the 2 times he came.

Yngwie is a HUGE up-and-down-only scale player. Very, very little emotion - much less than Michael Angelo Batio.

He uses the T-Rex MAB now.

You'll get good tone with bopth the Ibanez TS9 and the MAB OD, I own them both and they are great pedals but I prefer the T-Rex, it's a little bit "smoother", it adds maybe a little bit more distortion also.

By the way great video, MAB's the best! :D
