New jailbreak, Set up Wi-fi on iphone or ipod touch. Go to jailbreakme. com and just simply slide to jailbreak (slide like your unlocking) then open cydia, click sources and enter repo666.ultrasn0w. com save it then open it. your iphone or ipod touch should be jailbroken im 4.0.1 and it jailbroke for me. My friend was 3.1.3 and it didnt work for him he updated then it worked. hope this helps :)

@AmphisTheBand there is a video on how to change it. you go into control panel on your computer and click folder options then untick 'hide file extentions' or something simular. and then change the zip file extention to .ipa by renaming it.
