This is the Swedish original video made for this song in 1988. The more famous video was made only for the international market in 1989.

Cool. The video looks low-budget but lots of fun. The lyrics at 1:20 "Fresh for '89, Rocking bells," are a bit of a giveaway to the year it was made. Perhaps the MTV captions here say 1990 because it wasn't a hit in Germany until the following year.

Other versions of this on Youtube have the 'eight' word censored by re-sampling 'nine' which didn't make much sense at the time, never mind 20 years later!

This video was definitely shot in 1989 - probably first aired on MTV in December. It's very high on my personal chart dated 02 Jan 1990 :)

I much prefer this video to the one they released subsequently.
