I watch this in spite of Celine Dion. I watch it for the thrilled cheers that go up in the audience every time Elvis is on the screen. Especially at 2:23. This is a sophisticated audience, for all intents and purposes, and they're far removed from 1968. And they know it's not real. Celine is 43 years old and she was born in 1968. Elvis died in 1977. How could this be? Let's suppose that Celine sang with him in 1977 that would mean that she was 9 years old? Or then Celine is not 42 years old?...Fake!

you didn´t loose! On stage there was a famous Elvis double and the Cut-Out-Part was used for television viewers and big screen in the hall. So the people in the audience could see Elvis on SCREEN but on stage there was an Elvis double - what you can clearly tell if you closely watch hands and movement of the double - well a good Elvis fan can tell that at least :-)

I watch this in spite of Celine Dion. I watch it for the thrilled cheers that go up in the audience every time Elvis is on the screen. Especially at 2:23. This is a sophisticated audience, for all intents and purposes, and they're far removed from 1968. And they know it's not real. But they scream and applaud anyway, and for a few minutes they let themselves pretend. Because it's Elvis, and all others pale in comparison, even 40 yrs later.

I think Cenline is NOT an honest Singer. She, like many other (beyonce etc.), is unable to transport authenticity, in other words her main focus is: "how do I sound" "How can I impress ppl" "Lets insert a cute addlipp because I am the best". Not Elvis, when he sang he meant it, the words he sang went first through his soul and then came out. He was never about vocal perfection (allthough he sang very well) he was about feeling. Elvis was a gut singer, he was real, celine, beyonce etc r NOT!

@SweetAngeline25 Yes Celine sells plenty of records/cd's but she's not suited singing with Elvis fact people should remember Elvis wasn't into duet's he was always a solo artist when he was alive and what's happening now is artists like Celine in their fantasies want to be recorded singing with Elvis to satisfy their large ego's
and you might disagree but ask yourself why didn't she sing this solo instead of dragging Elvis into it..she wouldn't have got the same publicity right Angeline cheers
