I am a proud Christian and I must say people who think they know everything about God is just wrong. For one thing, God gave people free will. It is your choice to follow Him, but he won't hate you for it. I don't believe in the Death penalty because it basically hypocritical for playing God. There is no excuse for Murder whether they think it justified or not.

i respect the fact that your an athiest, I am a pretty devout Chrishtian however, i do not repect religious finatics that say that God hates you cause' yer gay or jewish. And i do support the death penalty, everyone has the right to life, but if you take that from someone, someone will take it from you. This man did not deserve the death penalty.

read below comment first!: I would say there is generally not that much we can do except "be the good guys here" in which case we have been since the US saved Iranians from Somali Pirates and Iran should say "alright...we give you this guy, we cool." My biggest issue is 1) death penalty [i hate it] 2) being convicted of something that has NOTHING to do with the "actual crime." if he was standing on the streets and screaming Bible verses in Iran then the accusations against God (or whatever)

So religious fanaticism is a fascinating topic since, here in America, we're quite familiar with it, in the Christian Right sort of way. So, I'm with on the fact that I lose respect for anybody that goes about coming up to me and preaching to me. So is he being judged fairly? Good question. According to the Qur'an, yes AND no. I dont really know why America has problems with a country thousands of kilometers away. maybe its because of the resources, because they want to "liberate" the people. Or because they want to erase/ reduce the extremists and makke the world a better place. America is ruled by a lot of religious ignorant people (christian/ jewish/ cowboy/ whatever) and they hate people that think different or even hate them too, but I´m sure that muslim people hate the usa because they killed their families.

I even believe that Iran doesn't even have a nuclear program. It's all about the resources. America started a war against "terrorism" because in this way it will be no winner and they won't have to end this war so they can get the resources.

They themselves only deny developing nuclear weapons. And as regards other resources, you probably also need affordable fuel and food :p
