I wore play lip stick when I was 4 and all it was was chap stick with sparckles in a lip stick container. It was for dress up not every day use! I used some perfume and nail polish my mom put on me that I liked when I was 4 also. In 5th grade I wore mascara and in 6th I wore eyeliner and eyeshadow. I don't like the idea of fake eyelashes for little kids but nail polish, spa sets, and lip gloss/stick are fine for little ones!

My 14YO daughter recently had a careers programme at school, with various people coming in to talk about the jobs they do.
I was amazed when she said one of them was a female SEX WORKER, who detailed all the risks they face- violent clients, pimps & police action. Fair enough, but she ended on a positive note, saying the money was great, ‘empowering’ her to live an independent life, not reliant on men.
The teacher (a feminist) seemed to be applauding her as some kind of role model…

I wore play lip stick when I was 4 and all it was was chap stick with sparckles in a lip stick container. It was for dress up not every day use! I used some perfume and nail polish my mom put on me that I liked when I was 4 also. In 5th grade I wore mascara and in 6th I wore eyeliner and eyeshadow. I don't like the idea of fake eyelashes for little kids but nail polish, spa sets, and lip gloss/stick are fine for little ones!

I just got my first pedicure a month ago and I'm 12. I haven't ever had a manicure though. I started wearing makeup in 4th grade, and eye liner in 5th, and mascara in 6th. When I was 5 I didn't even know what make up or nailpolish was -_-

I'm 16 and I don't need makeup, looks ugly if you have too much on. I am afraid to have children at this day and age. It's most likely to get worser... please people wake the fuck up!!! Society is going down the shithole! At that age I used to draw, go bike riding with friends, play with teddies. Never thought about all that makeup shit. I wish I wasn't a teenager today, I wish I was in the 80s or 90s. It's horrible for teenagers as well today. Most look like porn stars they way they dress. :(

Lip gloss and nailpolish in normal to want to wear as a child, as play! I used to wear red nailpolish as a kid, cuz it was a funny play, but I got the nailpolish done at home, not an expensive saloon. To put make-up and all the other stuff and going to beautysalons for it is just over the top. The kids will ruin their natually healthy and shiny hair and skin too if the start with that crap at such a young age. It is sad, kids should be kids.

I am 33 and I will tell you that most women who are my age would love to be as naturally beautiful with skin as beautiful as ours was when we were your age. You don'[t need those things. You are already just as beautiful as you will ever be in your natural state with your perfect skin right now. Fake eyelashes!! Are you serious? I don't even do those. Your mom allows you to do all that? Don't rush to look like a woman. Enjoying being young & NATURALLY gorgeous!

its about the trend.. when you read a book you read more than the words, you read between the lines, so open your eyes.. they didnt send the mesage across well enough in this video, they watered it down.. kids all want to be plastic desirable sex dolls.. of course painting nails is okay... guys dont care about fingernails.

i think nail polish is fine when ur 6 and up. but no offense, lipstick is a little much. and the spa, should be something to try when ur older. i wasn't wearing makeup and getting manicures when i was four. and skin care at four??? wait until puberty, that's when it comes into play.

This is why I do not want to raise a girl in this society. I have two boys and would be happy with another boy. I hate how we make our girls grow up way too soon in this society. Sometimes I cant believe my eyes when I see some of the underwear at Walmart made for five year old little girls. Its disgusting but its our fault because we buy them!
