  • I'm reading some of these comments and I think that a lot of you did not understand the message which is sad because I think she was great.

  • Wait wait wait wait wait.... She kidding about Santa right?

  • It's Pat!

  • she's amazing!!

  • Disclaimer to be put in the bible -

One day, you will learn all about santa. That day, remember all they told you about jesus.

  • Why can't people just agree to disagree? Maybe it is in our nature to bash each other over the head to death with each other's opinions. Or maybe I'm an idealist and this is the way things are supposed to be? Hmmm...questions, questions...

  • @cerpintax, I agree. And I apologize on their behalf. Real Christians are not judgmental towards anyone. Please don't generalize, though, okay? Because there are a lot of us that are like me.

  • Where is the rest? This is just an excerpt?

  • bad theology = bad behavior. I am so sorry for all the incorrect theology we have taught to people. Let's read the Bible and ask the Holy Spirit to teach us.

  • Wow, people who disagree with Julia sound so angry. People who disagree with atheist views usually do so without even listening or knowing anything about atheism. We are all aware of the story behind Christianity, because it's been forced upon most Americans since birth. Most of us aren't told to explore and find the truth for ourselves, we're told without question what the truth is. How many Christians have thoroughly read into Atheism/evolution/physics-the only explanation backed by evidence?

  • Sweeney , like most atheists don't understand what they are objecting to

Love , Christ's love, corrects us by....hello, bringing love into ourselves, changing how we view ourselves, others and the entire world .

    L-O-V-E yup

I suggest all atheists throw away the paraphrased translation of the Bible -the New International Version ---written by social engineers's in the early 1970's and get a King James or before. ...literal translations.

  • @2002lees

Believe in our invisible yet all powerful existence God, Zeus the almighty. Believe or be tortured for an eternity. Go to our Zeus church or be banished from society, you sadistic evil Christian fiend. Doesn't my religion sound LOVING? Just like yours! Wee!

  • @DrShakesBALLIN you have the same type of faith when you hope you pass a math exam. you know you'll pass but you dont have any concrete proof for it until you complete the exam :p

  • @ThePlatoon4

That's actually called reasonable expectations. Faith would be like if you answered C on all of them and think you passed.

  • @ThePlatoon4 No, faith would be getting your math test back with red Xs on every answer and a big "F - See me after class!" written across the top, and still believing that you passed.

  • @butchkitties way to crush my self esteem and everything i believed in. i feel so much fucking better.....

  • @DrShakesBALLIN Believe in our spagetti monster. Go to pirate heaven with a beer volcano and a stripper factory. Become a pirate and get lots of wenches. 30 day god back guarantee - try the spagetti monster as your god for 30 days, if you aren't a believer at the end of the month, you can have back your favourite god. Now that really is lovely, no?

  • @aaqucnaona94

    That was lovely.

You should be go knock your neighborhoods front doors and be an official Spaghetti Monster advocate. You'd do well.

    Just sayin.

  • @DrShakesBALLIN LOL! :D

  • "Sin" is not an act you commit. Sin is an archery term, translated from ancient Hebrew and Greek as the measured distance between the mark where your arrow hits (you) and the bullseye (God:perfection)

Sin is a state of being. ---the harmful acts you do just a symptom of an imperfect being.

  • Relgiious dogma can be unreasonable. Throwing God out with the bathwater seems a little extreme. After all, we do have those Near Death Experiences

    - which is what you would expect to have if God did exist.

  • @JoEEll2233 What's special about near death experiences?

And how do you know what we could expect if a god existed or didn't exist?

  • @JoEEll2233 The human brain is fully capable of producing hallucinations. Look up DMT, the chemical that is only released when we dream and when we are dying. It causes those hallucinations. Everything can be explained by science. That probably sounds silly to you because you, like myself, were raised by your family to believe a spirit created everything for his own amusement. I wish everyone could step back from what they were told to believe and realize just how silly those beliefs are.

  • @JoEEll2233 Near death experiences are much more common in people who have sleep disorders, and they can be recreated with certain drugs.

    - which is what you would expect to have if NDEs are merely the brain entering a REM state due to high stress, a massive release of DMT from the pineal gland, and/or lack of circulation.

  • I believe that Julia Sweeney has a very nice way of stating that religion is

    just plain bullshit.

  • @cliffandy that's Faith in action right there and Christian's peaceful loving embrace of life

  • wow, shes ugly, fat, and hmm annoying!

  • @shadowsburnme Must be a Christian

  • So this is what happens to a woman who goes out to get breakfast with Winston Wolf. She's so bad ass.

  • Lol nice stories

  • For a good life & meaning in life try Truth-savescom, also, Robert M. Price, ' The reason driven life ', also mindvendorcom & authentichappinessorg, richarddawkinsnet,

  • I guess she wears that much makeup to cover the mouthful of dogshit coming from her throat. But, hey, freedom of speech. Isn't that right, cunt...

  • @cliffandy Let me guess: you are a believer. A blind, ignorant believer whose backwards beliefs allow you to judge everyone who believes differently and feel superior while still pretending that you and your type are the humble and righteous. Intelligent people who don't have a bias from the start and look at life and nature through the eyes of someone who is not held back by religious indoctrination all turn out to be atheists. It's just because we aren't scared to find the real truth.

  • @cerpintaxt28 but dissapointed with the answers you find :(

  • @ThePlatoon4 I wasn't. Maybe some people are disappointed when they discover that the truth of our existence is more complex than an invisible spirit hanging out in some other dimension poofing everything into existence...but ask 97% of the scientists of the world who are atheist if they are disappointed. Watch Carl Sagan videos on YouTube if you want to hear what science has to say about our existence...or Victor Stenger, the physicist. A logical, sensible, non-mystical theory is out there.

  • @cerpintaxt28 i meant spiritually. knowing there is no afterlife and eventually coming to the enevitable end of non existance. not everyone who believes in some type of god will be able to accept that :(

  • @ThePlatoon4 It may be hard to accept that there is no afterlife, because it isn't our ideal way to go out, but the universe doesn't owe us an ideal fate. If you focus on the actual question of how we came to be, the facts, whatever they are, don't rely on what we want to be true. I would love it if I could live forever after I died, but it seems like the most unlikely thing ever. People clearly only believe things like that because they are raised from birth to accept it without question.

  • @cerpintaxt28 then again there is no proof that you end there so there still maybe that very faint hope. and ill keep hoping, plus i know this hope wont cloud my ability to learn new things :)

  • @ThePlatoon4 That's a positive attitude, which is cool. But again, if you're interested in the question of the truth behind our existence, then I strongly advise you to read some science-based lit on the subject (i.e., professor Richard Dawkins's book The God Delusion, and others written by highly respected scientists) instead of letting only one of the many evidence-lacking holy books dictate your thoughts on the matter. Hope for an afterlife if you need to, but keep educating yourself too!

  • @cerpintaxt28 thanks i will :)

  • @cerpintaxt28 pot meet kettle.....full disclosure i am an atheist.

  • @cerpintaxt28 "allow you to judge everyone who believes differently and feel superior" i agree with you. but don't make yourself out to be superior to someone just because they aren't as open-minded as you.

  • @ToniGurl94 I see your point. But I believe that's exactly the problem-dogma.People saying their beliefs, in the complete absence of any kind of evidence, must be right because they were raised from birth to believe those beliefs. No one else could possibly be right, according to every mutually-exclusive religion out there. There is only one truth, but everyone assumes it's the truth they say it is.Science is the only field that gladly gives up a hypothesis if evidence consistently contradicts it.

  • @cerpintaxt28 I was raised by atheists and became a Christian. I'm not judgmental at all and my religious beliefs never hold me back. You are guilty of the very thing you are accusing religious people of -- generalization and stereotypes. Please realize that not everything is all black and white, and has to be a religious argument.

  • @FallOutGirlxxxxx Please explain more. I don't ever purposely stereotype, but I have a hard time understanding how some of these people can claim that they're good Christians with some of the comments they say about people like Julia Sweeney, or just atheists in general. I've heard so many Christian people say that they HOPE and/or PRAY that whatever atheist they're talking about burns in the depths of hell or some variation of that. That's not tolerance. Why the anger toward different ideas?

  • And it's not an even battle of different ideas. Christianity governs the US. I, like most atheists I would assume, are so because we saw so many holes in the religion stories we were raised to believe that we had to open our minds to new ideas. So many people fight that urge, won't read about new and compelling theories, and become angry with those who have other ideas.

  • There is so much evidence readily available that supports evolutionary theory. Christians hate it! They won't read about it! But it's a fact, and honestly, if you read about it enough--it discredits everything about religion, including intelligent design. Because it includes theories (defined as theories, but with staggering evidence supporting them) on the cosmos.

  • @cerpintaxt28 Wow, what a remarkable schema you have there!

  • @cliffandy Classy.

  • @cliffandy: Keep believin' without question like the mindless sheep you are, scumbag.

    Freedom of speech.

  • @ResurrectionJoe Freedom of speech...I suppose only certain types of speech are an exercise of freedom. This lady is cashing in on throwing her parents under the bus for her tragic version of life without god. It's dickshits like this who need a little psychotherapy in their life to get over themselves, get a job, then shut the fuck up and pay the bills like the rest of us. She's not a waste of space because of some religious sensibility draining out of her gourd; she's merely a waste of space.

  • @cliffandy Butthurt?

  • @cliffandy

"she's merely a waste of space"

what a christian thing to say.

  • @pyr666 He's a Christian though! He is allowed to judge others.

  • @cliffandy Thank you for proving such an easily-made point: you Christians are exactly the angry, hate-filled, judgemental, xenophobic bigots you cast others down for being. I guess some people just need to hate others so they can feel okay about their own lives. Why does no Christian ever read a book by, for instance, Richard Dawkins, and say, "damn, that makes so much more sense than what I was force-fed as a kid to believe?" It's because most of you won't read those books. You're scared.

  • Great Story, I wish i had one like this. Mine goes something like this:

Well... I have always been a thinking person... IDK just never "bought" it.

  • Comment removed

  • LOL I love her way of explaining Mormonism 10min into the vid, funny shit

  • excuse my few misspellings

  • personally i believe in god and i dont find this offensive one bit that any of u people are atheists, but just like u get aggrivated when we talk about about god, it's not necisarily the greatest thing in the world to say stuff like god was created by man to get over the fear of death. To be honest none of us have seen god with our own eyes so be fair there could be a possibility that he could not exist, or at least not in the way we percieve him. But theres definetly the possibility he does.

  • @jerseydog423 You are partially right, no atheist with respect for the scientific method would completely rule out a god, we can't know. That being said, we don't find any compelling reason to believe in any of the gods from our history thus far, and in fact see reason that the claims are in fact untrue. Hell, half of the Pope's in history were only in that position for power. But it's your right to believe what ever you wish, and I endorse that right.

  • @jerseydog423 Please consider reading the book "Has Science Found God?" By Victor Stenger. He's a well-respected physicist, and he views God as a hypothesis like any other. He isn't biased, but he explains how far physics has come in explaining how not only life, but the universe itself most likely came to be. Physicists have discovered much more about our universe than people realize! It has been proven that the universe was fully capable of creating itself.

  • May sound silly, but only because the Christian and creationist influences on the world are still so strong that we are convinced at a very young age not to even question what we are told to believe. If you really think about it, does an invisible ghost man that poofs things into being like a damn wizard really seem rational?

  • Its amazing to see that atheist have conquered youtube. This might be just the beginning. Open social system are very dangerous for religion. Lets hope it dies a quick and silent death.

  • @thesparitan I have noticed that too. All the pro atheist videos have a large ratio of likes compared to dislikes. You would think that creationists would be watching these videos and disliking them but I think they are afraid to watch these videos because it might shake their faith.

  • Comment removed

  • @cerpintaxt28 I don't know that youtube atheist are the most intelligent group of people on youtube, but it is certainly possible. Religion is dying out; honestly at this point there is not much as to do except open a beer and watch the show. BTW this means good things for the human race, because one of the best indicators of a nations quality of life is there lack of religious belief. Go look up an article called "why gods are not winning" I will blow your socks off. It rocks.

  • @thesparitan I will. And it is refreshing, being a person who lives in a small town of mostly conservative people, to know that there are others who appreciate reason and can explore other possible theories of existence, etc. I hope you're right, and I think you are, about religion dying out. I just hope we see some significant damage to its infrastructure during our lives. Peace man.

  • @cerpintaxt28 Peace to you as well and I just like to add that I am not very hopeful as a person, actually I am a pessimist but I do believe that people living 50 years from now will not have the shackles of oppressive beliefs to hold them back.

  • tis woman sucks not becoz she is an atheist, she just talk like whiny trash...

  • @knight2battle

You suck because you spell like a fucking 7 year old.

  • @BarrySlisk It's always the Christian people (or Muslim, or whichever dogmatic religion they were indoctrinated into) who don't even listen to how reasonable atheistic/scientific theories are before they start spouting off with the most terrible grammar ever. If I couldn't spell any better than that chode knight2battle or the waste of sperm and eggs below who goes by alexghony, I wouldn't post comments because making myself look like an idiot would hurt my cause.

  • @knight2battle Can you spell?

  • @thesparitan Take your hairy potter bag of spells and shove it up yer ass!!

  • @knight2battle what? Acid is a hell of a drug so be careful there cowboy.

  • @knight2battle You spelled hairy wrong.

  • Me... I worship Julia Sweeney

  • Why can't we all just get along?!

  • sitting back to my computer and listening to some, drug, lesbien, addict, that are saying THERE IS NO GOD, is so absorb!!! fuck you bitch,

  • @alexghony Wow, such nice language coming from a christian. Why are you even watching this video anyway? Go read some fucking bible verses, idiot.

  • @BeavisNButtheadRock His bible would instruct him to kill her for "blasphemy." As an atheist, I have the morality to understand that shit is evil.

  • @alexghony You people crack me up. How do you claim to be a Christian (I am assuming that's the one you were brought up to believe, so you do) and say so many intolerant, hateful, judgemental comments about a fellow human being? Explain why you are so enlightened that you can cast down homosexuals, or people who have any kind of different lifestyle than yours? I thought Jesus (who has never been proven to exist to this day) taught acceptance and loving "thy" neighbor. You are an idiot.

  • @JamesonSmirnoff did you know that America is the most violent industrial country, and highest murder rate. america should get their focus "in" instead of "out"..

  • @JamesonSmirnoff sweden is about 80% I think. And Norway something like that too. And you should check out those two Countrys. Because they simply own the whole being a country thing

  • And here's the thing-you probably can't find even 2 Christian denominations that agree what that age actually is. Since it is NEVER mentioned in the Bible.

  • @21apacer no problem.. but to convert you to something nice: im not a man of religion, nor am i just a Norwegian, im a man of the world.. a world citizen.. our planet would be so better if everyone united; one language, no missunderstandings, we all saw the world for what it was and we could share 6 billion brains to whats best for us =)

  • Nice story but it was made up

  • @21apacer for me its important to understand and see the world around me.. i would like you to see some of Christopher Hitchens work =)

you wont go to hell, dont be afraid! =) live your fullest, and dont hurt anyone.. and you will be all fine =)

  • @oaaserud I bet there are so many Christians who are happy Christoper Hitchens died because he tore a huge hole in theist logic. But he did awesome things to open the eyes of the sheep herd before he left. It's a common contradiction in Christianity to find joy in pain, suffering, and death of others seen as a threat to the belief system.

  • I went to Church once and I didn't enjoy it, the Church Priest said to everyone and myself in the crowd, that if we don't come to Church every week we are not going to have a very good afterlife! Can you believe he said that and he said at the end, if you could make a small donation that would be good, so then goes round the money donation hat and some people are putting in $20-$50, some even put $100 in the hat for the Church, because they want to have a good afterlife like the Priest says.

  • Scientist have found that there is a religious gene in some of us from birth, which is why some people are religious and others are not. I am not joking, it was on the news, you might have the religious gene or you may not.

  • @youthissobeautiful I don't think that could be true at all. Genes don't really work that way, according to what I've learned. We don't really have a specific gene that corresponds to a specific trait like that. Genes contribute to different attributes simultaneously. For whatever reason, I think so many people just refuse to listen to even the most reasonable and sound theory of anything if they have strong beliefs about something that is being put into question.

  • I AM TURNING 23 THIS YEAR, and I look 25 even though I look after my body with great care, healthy healthy etc, but I miss being 17 and 18, those were the best years of my life, but as I get older life becomes more depressing!

  • Comment removed

  • God has never made himself known to me, I have tried to make myself known to him but I get no response.

  • @youthissobeautiful Try looking in a mirror.

  • Religion has inspired so many conflicts. True. However it also inspired many discoveries, cultures and technology.

  • Shit.. women suck at being a source of inspiration.

  • God is real. Chuck Norris is Christian. That is my proof, he says so, so it is so.

  • God is real.

  • Dragons, fairies, deities, leprechauns, demons, trolls, all pretend. Religions are myths and folklore, superstitions.

  • I find it sad and strange how atheists are so worried about what Christians believe. They should mind their own business. What does it matter what I believe and you and believe. Both Christians and atheists make good points, It is sad that humans cannot accept eachother over something like this =(

  • @animedude00spec Its not that we care what Christians believe, its that we want to stop the bigotry, insanity, pain, cruelty, suffering etc. caused by religion, mainly religious extremists.

  • @Xloi63 Extremists are not religous. Christians do not kill like muslims or other relgions. Grouping us with other religiouns should not be done. I find it perfectly unfair that some humans can believe what they want. but others cant?

  • @animedude00spec yes, but jihad is the Muslim right to kill all who do not conform to their standards Murder in the name of religion, or anything is barbaric, and should be abolished Specific details are useless and irrelevant when looking at the big picture, and that is this: Religion has INSPIRED so much hate, violence, warfare, death, ignorance and restricted the evolution of humans as a species. Practice in private, but never to an extreme, and always keep an open mind to other possibilities

  • @Xloi63 I do, but atheists never keep their mind open, and I do practise only at my church and dont let it interfere with my life.

  • @animedude00spec Believing what you want is not the issue. It is when people's beliefs impede on others rights. For example the now big issue of Gay marriage. Just like many non-muslims are scared of Sharia law, which impedes on women's rights, Non-believer's are scared of 'Christian Law' which denies certain rights to Homosexuals. If religions left other non-believers alone atheist wouldn't care. But religious people are commanded by their books and gods to convert and influence others.

  • @ikinari I know but that hatred is directed at me even though I didnt do anything. Everyone sees some Theists oppressing gay marriage so because of that I get grouped with them. I'm just stating I believe in God and thats it. I think gay marriage should be allowed and 9/11 was a terrible day for mankind yet people are called me a homophobic terrorist. I dont think that's fair. I'm not calling you an "oppressive communist" or something. I think both Theists and Atheists deserve the same treatment

  • @ikinari Awesomely put. Most Christians I have known surely don't have very accepting attitudes of homosexuals. And the way Islamic law treats women like animals is only obviously different from Christian practices today...because Christianity has been modified and moderated consistently throughout the years. But there has always been lots of misogyny in Christianity too, and it still continues on many levels today.

  • @animedude00spec We mostly are annoyed by the Christians that try to tell us we are going to a hell Atheists don't even believe in. I don't have a problem with all Christians, just the ones that try to push their beliefs upon me.

  • @Santeria231 Well what about atheists? I dont mind them, but poeple on atheist videos saying Christians should be exterminated and slaughtered? Is that respect and or a threat? You ahve to give respect before you can recieve it.

  • @animedude00spec Where are these atheist videos saying Christians should be exterminated and slaughtered? If they do exist, they are certainly the minority, have no place in the modern atheist movement and would cause disgust among nearly all in the atheist community.

  • @neclark2 Not the videos, the commentors. Every video I have seen promoting atheism has the few people saying we religious people terrorize them and murder them. It is ignorant to group all religious people together because there are seperate religions. I believe in equality regardless of belief, if true atheists are as smart as they claim to be, they should be intelligent enough to not conform to the ideals of religion haters. An atheist does not have a personal god, doesn't mean they hate us.

  • @animedude00spec I (mostly) agree with you, just want to note a big misconception that you share with many. Atheism is just one stance on a particular issue (the existence of god(s)) , so "true atheism" is a confused term to throw around. Atheism is not an ideology or a worldview and atheists disagree on a large number of issues.

I agree with your criticism of atheists who seem to hate all theists. Would you then not also criticize theists who seem to hate all atheists?

  • @neclark2 Yes I would. OUR Golden rule is to love and accept all. Even though it is a sin to disbelieve in God, it doesn't mean that we hate you just that we don't agree with the beliefs that you share with other atheists. Also, what I ment by true atheists is that atheists who don't believe in God because of scientific evidence, not the atheists who conform to it like most do because they don't want to sound like a "dumb theist" when asked about beliefs regarding religion/

  • @animedude00spec I'm an atheist, and I'm fully capable of loving and caring for other people. That doesn't come from religion, and you are equally capable of being a terrible person if you do believe in god. It makes no difference to what kind of person you are. I don't think all religious people are dumb. But I think most religious people believe in god because they were brought up to from childhood, and never get any information on other possibilities.

  • @neclark2 Atheism--by my definition, anyway--is based on scientific theories; i.e. evolution. There is nothing dogmatic or angry about it. But we get laughed at and banished to hell before Christians even listen to the very logical theories. I've never met an atheist who believed all Christians or religious people should be exterminated. They've all been reasonable people so far. I would be disgusted with anyone who has that attitude.

  • @animedude00spec There is only one factual truth. Scientists teach about evolution because of all the evidence proving its validity. Powerful religious politicians are doing all they can to stop evolution from being taught in school. I could type a huge list of terrible things religion has caused to happen, but there isn't enough space. I can accept that other people believe in god, but Christians always try to force their beliefs on others. It's a theory that is very likely wrong.

  • If Christians kept to themselves, it would be different. But that's not the case. Christians don't even want scientists to explore alternative theories. Our government is so conservatively Christian that an atheist would never be elected into politics if she/he were open about it. If the Christian theory is completely wrong, which is highly probable, then we should stop modelling everything in the country around Christian philosophy. People can be just as good or evil without religion.

  • Where is the rest of this? I wanna see more!

  • Being seven is tough

  • That was intense!

  • I nearly died laughing at this.

  • the sooner people realize words like "FAITH"and "BELIEF" are evil devices too keep the stupid masses bubbling along believing in there religion. Christians what will you do if allah is stand there before you when you die?

  • I was kicked out of the Catholic church because the priests were was jealous over my ability to move people to The Holy Spirit

One Sunday morning, I let out a loud, stinky fart during the homily. I moved everyone around me to The Holy Spirit. With TEARS in their eyes, they all began shouting out, "GOOD GOD!! JESUS CHRIST!! LORD HAVE MERCY!! They were all waving their arms about as Pentecostal Christians do!! And this was not even a Pentecostal church!!

  • @PsySwitch1983 Asshat

  • That BMW commercial is shockingly wicked - it is disgusting to package together the sloppy messes of Jackson Pollock with the artistic architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright is disgusting. That's not just my opinion or feeling, it's a a demonstrable truth one can observe by grasping the philosophical & cultural ideas motivating artists through human history. Some ideas have resulted in very poor Art. Much is really just great craft, like photo-real wildlife paintings - but JP even rejects that!

  • I believe strongly in God. To all religious who are condemning others, go learn the faith properly and stop perpetuating this idea we're all ignorant and self-righteous.You really think you're going to bring someone closer to God by telling them they're evil and ugly? How dare you presume you have that right. Do your best to find room for all the broken and hurting in your heart. If you are acting upon a true and kind love and they STILL persecute you, turn the other cheek.

  • @kakashixisxlove Yes leave it to God to smite all unbelievers and roast them in an eternal fire for all eternity.

  • @kakashixisxlove

Can you truly blame them for treating their fellow humans the way God treats humans in much of the Bible?

  • @Benfea Man, I'm tearing up this YouTube wall. I should probably chill after this comment. But you're right. God was so violent and jealous in the Old Testament, then I guess they just made up a new version to appease a more liberal world. But Christians ignore all of the bad stuff in the Bible and focus on the good lessons and say that's the only thing that makes people good.

  • @kakashixisxlove Which god are you talking about? Zeus? One of 117 gods in the Hindu religion? The god that football players pray to to beat the shit out of their opponents? Which god?

Many advanced countries such as Sweden are now 85% atheist. So they are wrong?

Morality is not something found inside a church. It is part of our intellect and evolution...oh wait! You don't believe in evolution do you?

  • @ripcalwill Evolution is false. Sweden is a stupid country to begin with. Only 1.5 million people in the world are atheist. Atheist are outnumbered and wrong.

  • @animedude00spec Evolution is a fact that has been proven time and again by science for hundreds of years. It's not a theory just because you don't like it. Read about it, watch the Science channel, Discovery channel, Animal Planet...they all talk about how life evolved. Not guesses, but facts. Read about these things before rejecting them.

  • @ripcalwill You're so smart! Maybe YOU are god! Just joking. But well put! I believe most of Great Britain is also atheist. That dude below saying only 1.5 million people are atheist and that evolution is false-- well, first, he's stupid. Second, he's completely wrong about everything he said. Statistics are not like god, where you can just claim it's true and that's good enough. Most of China is atheist also, and there are more than 1.5 million people in a Chinese coffee shop!! God is DYING

  • @kakashixisxlove Hmm I must say that this is one of the first uplifting and positive comments I've seen a Christian person post! Although I'm sure you would have the same positive attitude if you were an atheist, it's just nice to know that some Christians out there see the huge contradictions to Christian morals seen in lots of these posts. I hope you are one of the few who actually reads about this subject with an open mind. Please read The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins.

  • I love her line at the end: I am not sure if I BELIEVE what I so clearly feel.

  • Where's the rest of the speech?

  • how does she remember everything she did and said at 7 ? wow I cant remember what happened last week

  • @ckidd11 I really doubt this is all true.

  • @ckidd11

did she claim to remember "everything"? no, no she didn't. she told of 1 event she remembered.

i can describe a few events from when i was that age in detail, and im sure you can think of some yourself.

  • Shes amazin lol x

  • @xboxboy40 God is a creation out of man because of desperation and fear for death.

  • @oaaserud "It is not as in the Bible, that God created man in his own image. But, on the contrary, man created God in his own image." Ludwig Feuerbach

  • It's time to evolve.

  • is this chick a comedian? or a philosopher? winey

  • Genius!

  • How could you feel gods love without having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? This is another example of ignorance of christianity, taking things out of context, and self rightousness. This is what I expected It to be too. Try not to make such generalized statements. God exists outside of logic. Logic is a product of man. We will never understands gods ways. God Bless......

  • @HiGhLiKeAlLaDin and logic is another thing a zealot can't understand.

  • @ForeverFreeride I think people need some pretentiousness in their lives. Is there a god or not? How did we get here? You can't philosophize your way out of those questions and say that god exists beyond logic or within our souls or anything like that! Because that's just dancing around the question. Were we created, or did we emerge through evolution? The facts and evidence consistently say the latter, that we evolved from other animals. Christians don't like that, so they ignore its validity.

  • Great voice.

  • Hmmm. I see a problem - her arguments are based on the Age of Reason (Enlightenment), a Western-imposed movement. How about the sentimental East?

Her arguments are not subjected to an "omnimodus veritas" to begin with.

  • I dont understand why people argue so much about religion, and point their fingers at God saying, "he is this, or he is that." WHY DONT YOU ALL BOW DOWN AND WORSHIP YOUR CREATOR AS YOU WERE ORDERED TO BY YOUR TRUE FATHER IN HEAVEN. Its as simple as that, we are ORDERED to worship him... however the human mind can still make it's own decisions. Do you want paradise, or hell?

  • This is exactly why it's called FAITH. It's not about what we know... It's simply whether or not you make the decision to put your faith in God, or yourself and the devil. Which is also simply what atheism is: The worship of ones self and consequently the devil.

  • @GenoEllinithaKoukla What a blatantly biased assumption; atheism is to not believe in god, NOT to worship yourself. ps faith is useless; ie give me one piece of physical, empyrical evidence that suggests that I should put my faith in the existance of the christian god as oposed to the incredible hulk?.......see, useless.

  • @nailedurmum01 I BELEIVE IN THE INCREDILE HULK!

  • @nailedurmum01 actually, prescribing to a faith in the christian god would also demand that you follow the set moral code, otherwise you'd be just a poser and a blasphemer, not something you'd want to be. The Incredible Hulk doesn't have such a moral code, unless you count his behavior as a template, which would be awesome. So, you've presented a false dichotomy, and these two are not analogous. Besides, you are asking for physical evidence on a metaphysical subject; a bit erroneous no?

  • @lord666christoph You have missed the point utterly. One could just invent ANY moral code and attribute it to the incredible hulk. How would you PROOVE that the moral code you describe is any more synonomous with the christian god than the imagined one is to the hulk? The christian god and the hulk are completely analogous as they have no SPECIFICALLY known attributes and therefore you can just believe whatever the hell you wan't. Ie belief in either is pointless.

  • @nailedurmum01 - Ummm....how about faith in "Merriam–Webster" because they say its spelled "Empirical".

    God, I mean...HULK!

  • @thejetshowlive A) don't be pedantic B) webster? I'm assuming that is some american dictionary that defiles the english language?

  • @nailedurmum01 Thats one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. Hulk just want to smash!!! Hulk get angry!!! Hulk smash!!! Jesus had cooler super powers ... he walked on water, he made some things come to life ... he probably needed to spend time with professor X to sharpen that super power but its still cool. He also could turn water into wine, which is a much cooler party trick than turning green and destroying the house where the party was. Thats only Jesus, god has even cooler tricks

  • @payam09 But they're all make-believe. An invisible man who creates the universe and has super powers? Sounds like a Stan Lee comic book.

  • @GenoEllinithaKoukla You are a douchebag, piss drinking, cock gobbling, shitsucking, thundercunt. Now go back to your preacher man and tell him what I called you.

  • @GenoEllinithaKoukla Damn, this crap is ridiculous. Atheism isn't evil; it's a different hypothesis for how we humans and the universe came to be. Yours is a hypothesis as well, one which no evidence has ever supported. I don't worship myself. I don't worship anything. I love good people around me. I believe in being a good person to others. Am I going to hell? I'm sure you know the answer. FAITH is a terrible thing. It's belief in something with complete absence of evidence.
