@xBetoix I went to their site, they have a section with downloads, add ons, stuff like that, after that, the purchase was pretty easy... But I recommend you see some of my later clips, most of them are recorded with free VST amp sims, which IMO sound more natural and real. It takes some time to understand how to use them, but after that, they are very customizable.
@MusicByEdwin Hey, its called pinch harmonic, or artificial harmonic. The comment limit is too small, so its best for you to look up some pinch harmonic tutorials here on youtube, there is a lot of them... Hope that helps...

Bad sounds, but nonetheless, you are showing people that its able to play guitar with a decent enough tone on the computer ;) Try out giving you some more bass and middle, but afterwards highpassing around maybe 100 - 200 Hz :)

Yes, there are those, if you dont have only the default drivers, but when you install all the software for POD S, you can use it just as your sound card.
@MrDohmah Well they changed tone over the years. I dont use POD Farm much now, but I think that dual tone with dual recto, with different cabinets and EQ could work nice, also try putting spinal... And ofc TS for the boost... Big bottom with low bass settings on one channel and rectifier on the other could also make a nice combo, but it depends what are you after... The best advice I can give you is, you have to experiment a lot and listen...
@guitarfavourite :D Its an add-on for software... Hardware is POD studio (ux1 in my case), which lets you connect your guitar to your PC. With it, you get POD Farm, the software, which you can use for playing/recording. Metal Shop is just an add-on for that software, which expands your amp selection.

Hi man, that sounds are really amazing. I'm gonna buy the pod Studio UX2, that is basically the same.. Are you using Pod Farm or Platinum one?, cuase I've been using Pod Farm with my Guitarport, and doesn't appears diezel or engl or others.
@ohmygooooood POD Farm, but I got a Metal Shop addon, which is 25 dollars... It gives you only the metal amps from the Platinum... Check out Line6 site for more info...
One more thing, Ihace realize that they are metal amps, baut all of them ned a tubescreamer, I dont understand why thay do that. I need to include too an screamer before my mesa simulation in Pod Farm 1. I maybe get the metalshop addon when I buy de UX2.
@cynicown IMO, Metal pack is defo worth it. I use Criminal (5150) the most, I got a really nice sound of it, and I never looked back. I`ll make a video with it, as soon as I get back to my college , so that you can see its true power. Now, if you have EMGs or some high output and clarity pickups, I`d recommend LePou amp sim thru Reaper for example, it gives great results with high output pickups. Anyhow, its worth it, at least for me :)

@Testamented91 Alright, I'll send all the info you will need in a message. But yeah, Bugera amps are really good--no matter what anybody else says. I'm still debating on if I want to switch out the EL34 tubes in my 333XL with 6L6 tubes haha. But, you can really get great sounds from them for a pretty reasonable price. I subscribed. :)
@ChrizzleA the EQ you can see, on deity cab is t-75 with on axis mic, tube screamer is 5%drive and about 50% gain, see what suits you, and for Criminal I used Treadplate 4x12 and 57 off axis, and green 25s with 57 on axis... Tube screamer always the same...
@ChrizzleA Treadplate is BFMV, Green 25 is metal crim 2... And about 4 band EQ, it doesnt do much really, it just cuts off the highest frequencies... Like a big fall on 9.3khz, and put C on about 4db, on 11.3khz so that it keeps a sharp edge there... And the most important thing, put your noise gate on -67, a bit up or down wont hurt, and set your gain according to it (in this case on TS), trust me, less the gain, the better, thats the best advice for distorted rhythm tone making you can get!

yep criminal is nice too, but big bottom sits better in the mix most of the time than the criminal, even after tons of eq-ing. check out my channel for bigbottom sounds
@hideki12345 I did, and I love that djenty sound you get out of your seven string in the demo of 1527, and Makoreactor 2.0 was great, love the keyboard psytrance-ish stuff in there... I see youre a periphery fan too... :) Only 'bad' thing I could say is that it seems to me that guitar clips in some parts, but I cant say that for sure, could be something else...
i guess you can pull way more tone out of that thing. look at my video of me covering exodus funeral hymn and then compare , i just used normal podfarm plugin and it sounds sort of fatter than your sound (maybe also muddy, but i dont feel that way by hearing it through my boxes right here
@Visnu2007 Well, it was made just a couple of days after getting the expansion, didnt mess with it too much, you know... Plus, you have the x2n, I had a cheap no name pickup... Now I have an ibanez with v8, which is still not as good as x2n, but its better... I`d make a new video of this kind now, but I put on a set of dunlop strings, the only thick ones they had in store, and they shat my tone... Can I hear your guitar only tho, without the backing, with this same preset you used here?
@gahhhhhhhhhh2310 I`m not sure whats the connection like on it, but you can stick a regular guitar cable into the POD studio output, so maybe you could just bypass the amp head if you have one, and ofc dont use the cab simulation in POD farm, in case you are using the real deal.

@xPELICANx Go for it! For what I know, GX is the pretty much the same thing, except for the mic line in... Gold bundle gives you all the amps, so its better than just pod farm with metal pack... Plus you get that marshall jmp 1 and soldano that you dont get with metal shop, and I heard great stuff about them...
@xPELICANx Yeah, of course, it works on all the line 6 products that you have the licence for... I used gearbox for a while, but it started working strange, so i installed pod farm instead, plus, the dual tone is a nice feature...

@Testamented91 Well, I like some of the sounds you can get with this! I'm going to be using it for smaller recording projects where the Bugera kind of falls a little short haha. Mainly all of my black metal projects (I have three) and I will be using the Bugera for thrash and metalcore stuff. :) So, could I send you my email in a message then would you be able to send the patches to me?

@Testamented91 Alright, I'll send all the info you will need in a message. But yeah, Bugera amps are really good--no matter what anybody else says. I'm still debating on if I want to switch out the EL34 tubes in my 333XL with 6L6 tubes haha. But, you can really get great sounds from them for a pretty reasonable price. I subscribed. :)

@ChrizzleA the EQ you can see, on deity cab is t-75 with on axis mic, tube screamer is 5%drive and about 50% gain, see what suits you, and for Criminal I used Treadplate 4x12 and 57 off axis, and green 25s with 57 on axis... Tube screamer always the same...

@ChrizzleA Treadplate is BFMV, Green 25 is metal crim 2... And about 4 band EQ, it doesnt do much really, it just cuts off the highest frequencies... Like a big fall on 9.3khz, and put C on about 4db, on 11.3khz so that it keeps a sharp edge there... And the most important thing, put your noise gate on -67, a bit up or down wont hurt, and set your gain according to it (in this case on TS), trust me, less the gain, the better, thats the best advice for distorted rhythm tone making you can get!

@Kazelfox Well I dont know really, If I get my scolarship, I`ll have decent funds for that, but if not, for now I have about 300 euros, and rg7321 is not within that, so I`ll have to wait in any case... And a pickup swap is in order, ofc... I`ve seen some Dean Vendetta 7 going reeeally cheap, but i have no idea what are they like, or where to get them in this shithole...

yep criminal is nice too, but big bottom sits better in the mix most of the time than the criminal, even after tons of eq-ing. check out my channel for bigbottom sounds

@hideki12345 I did, and I love that djenty sound you get out of your seven string in the demo of 1527, and Makoreactor 2.0 was great, love the keyboard psytrance-ish stuff in there... I see youre a periphery fan too... :) Only 'bad' thing I could say is that it seems to me that guitar clips in some parts, but I cant say that for sure, could be something else...

youre playing is pretty ok, keep it on.
but one thing:
i guess you can pull way more tone out of that thing. look at my video of me covering exodus funeral hymn and then compare , i just used normal podfarm plugin and it sounds sort of fatter than your sound (maybe also muddy, but i dont feel that way by hearing it through my boxes right here

@Visnu2007 Well, it was made just a couple of days after getting the expansion, didnt mess with it too much, you know... Plus, you have the x2n, I had a cheap no name pickup... Now I have an ibanez with v8, which is still not as good as x2n, but its better... I`d make a new video of this kind now, but I put on a set of dunlop strings, the only thick ones they had in store, and they shat my tone... Can I hear your guitar only tho, without the backing, with this same preset you used here?

@gahhhhhhhhhh2310 I`m not sure whats the connection like on it, but you can stick a regular guitar cable into the POD studio output, so maybe you could just bypass the amp head if you have one, and ofc dont use the cab simulation in POD farm, in case you are using the real deal.

@gahhhhhhhhhh2310 best way would be to buy a power amp then send the output from your sound card to the power amp then the output from the power amp to the 4x12 cab...theres a video on here somewhere where a guy does it with the peavy revalver software

Right on. The Line 6 GX is essentially the same as the UX1 aside from number of inputs and knobs on top, right?
There's a dude selling a GX with the Gold GearBox bundle and free Pod Farm plug-in all for $100. Should I jump on this and just use Pod Form, or look for a used UX1 for a bit more money?

@xPELICANx Go for it! For what I know, GX is the pretty much the same thing, except for the mic line in... Gold bundle gives you all the amps, so its better than just pod farm with metal pack... Plus you get that marshall jmp 1 and soldano that you dont get with metal shop, and I heard great stuff about them...

@xPELICANx Yeah, of course, it works on all the line 6 products that you have the licence for... I used gearbox for a while, but it started working strange, so i installed pod farm instead, plus, the dual tone is a nice feature...

Not bad. I like the one @ 3:40 (listening in phones too and usually that's where Line 6 stuff is really easy to spot). Wish I could buy you a full on ENGL rig, sounds like you could put it to good use if you had it :)

The 5150 model sure sounds like a fucking beast. Sadly you didn't do the ENGL and Marshall(chill on the gain on this one) models much justice, I've heard incredible things from them. :/ None the less, nice demo!

Criminal i Big Bottom su mi najbolji... Criminal mnogo opako zvuci.
E da znas samo da nisi bacio pare... ovo je mnogo mocna stvar, ali opet je nekako u Line6 stegama... (cuje se da je line6)

Ma ne smetaju mi te stege, sta znam, nekako sam se naviko ili sta vec... Samo nisi valjda gledao dok je bio onaj uzasan kvalitet, zvucalo kao najvece sranje lol
