In journalism, you are taught to give first a outline of sorts that your writing will be about, THEN you go back and fill in the details. Don't they KNOW THIS??? This is all that is done in Genesis, which is GOOD journalism, it first gives a brief outline of what happened in chapter 1, then it fills in details in chapter 2.

Adam lived for over 900 years and begat other sons and daughters. You can make a lot of kids during that time. It doesn't list all of his children only those whose accounts are important for us to know about. By the time each of those kids reached the age of majority, which at that time could have even been teen years, they begat other children ...cont....
