A championship team is going to have a guy with a good average and high on base percentage at the top of the line up. It has been that way for over a century. Thanks for posting this video. As a kid, I remember when he was traded to the Texas Rangers, and as a lifelong Rangers fan, I recall his solid years, while in Arlington. I feel open to criticism for saying this: but if the Rangers are looking for a powerful right-handed hitter, they should give this man another opportunity. I bet he could still produce numbers today, just like he did in 1994, when he hit .282/.386/.552, slapped 31 HR's, and batted-in 90, in 429 AB's.
