  • I was wondering .... at the start of the video when you dmx the lights together where they connected into a dmx controller or did they work together just on slave with out the desk?

  • @DjPhonicProd At the begging they were running one of the built in programs in the light

  • Great Vid! this may be a stupid question buy im looking into getting the smaller rc led mega bar from adj, is the dmx the same on the smaller ones or is it diffrent?

    thanks

  • @lifeboats1 I think it might be slightly different because on the small ones you can't split it up into as many sections. I think it would be very similar. It will say on the American DJ website. Joe

  • @JLDJUK ahh i c, do you think these would be good for band lighting because Im looking for somthing to hang on my triangle truss behind a band along with my moving heads?

  • @lifeboats1 If you had two of these rear lighting a band I think that would look awesome. They don't have a wide enough beam angle to do front wash but outline wash would be cool. I can highly recommend these lights

  • @JLDJUK yeah outline wash i think they would look great! mite have to spend some money now :D

    cheers

  • DMX protocol is old now and a handful to programme. I know of wirless dmx , But would,nt you think By now that it should be fitted as standard, and as for the junior controller, when I first saw USB I thought here we ago a manufacturer with some promise and foresight. and I bought one. o well bollocks a light. look they can so much more, your demo was well intended, but you should point out your disappointment so we get some decently designed gear. even that light bar could be so much more.

  • @jimsim3 I understand what you are saying but the problem is DMX is a international standard. Its used all over the world and one company couldn't just create a new protocol overnight and see it used all over the world. If they were to put in a new Control method they would have to still keep DMX otherwise it wouldn't sell. Also wireless DMX is still the DMX protocol. its just wireless and I would like to see ADJ bring that more into their products.

  • @jimsim3

quite right yes. but still Dmx2 would be a neat Idea. a wireless 500 channel controller with a built in light module assignment.and the ability to use java like Lassi to create cue lists. See DMX is great when the system is installed or hard wired in. but if you Mobile it,s a real pain don,t you think. try soundscu channel for some nice new ideas also LightingAssistant's Channel. keep up the new reviews

  • i have 1 of them on 7 chanels and 2 mega bar 50 rgb rc also on 7 chanel,s the are bright as hell and cool with fog

  • Really nice video mate! So great advice!

  • i carn't get to

  • Great video! But I think for my DJ lights i'll just stick to auto and sound active mode :) DMX seems like something I might look into in the future.

  • @Holdsy10 For people who just want their lights to work sound to light is the way to go. Glad you liked the video :D

  • Once again, another great video!!!

  • @pstrand01 Thanks :D

  • Hey M8, Great vid! The composition and framing etc is really good, Did your friend do this vid, coz the one's he film tend to me much better quality. Good vid tho, keep up the good work!

  • @TheTechFish I filmed this one. Glad you like my composition and framing :D lol

  • nice vid by the way well don

  • @jltmobiledisco Thanks :D

  • thanks

  • on djkit.co.uk

  • can you tell me wich one of these are the best on w audio dx 12 800w speaker and kam kxr150 amplifier package or kam zp15 400w full range speaker and kam kxr300 amplifier

  • @jltmobiledisco I would suggest going to the DJ kit store before you decide on either of these and ask to hear how they sound. You can't just buy speakers on the specs alone. You need to hear the sound quality before you buy.
