I agree that it is a new trick. the element of whacking it with your hand changes it from the ninja vanish. if youcould get to the point where you could grind it on your knuckle for a little bit before dropping it into the loop would be awesome.

Well, to me, I think that some people might not know that you're trying to hit it or even notice that you are hitting it. It kinda looks like a mistake and looks kinda pointless. So for me, it's not something I would want in my trick library.

I've done it on accident one or two times, but it does look much cooler when you're doing it on purpose. I don't see why someone would yell at you and tell you it's not a trick... You're doing something cool with a yoyo that's not just a one-time fluke. That's what a trick is.

Hmm. If it were me, I would still call it Ninja Punch (because it's an awesome name), but I would credit it as a variation on the Ninja Vanish.

FWIW, try not to devote too much brain power to haters. There aren't that many in the community, but they do exist. Keep up the work. The videos I've seen so far are quite good.
