I bet I will be first uploaded this song into youtube. Be pleased by this awesome song. It will always remember to me best times of life. Peace and cheers

  • very good man!

  • Excellent.

  • "A young girl is playing in her bedroom when she hears her mother call to her from the kitchen, so she runs downstairs to meet her mother.

As she's running through the hallway, the door to the cupboard under the stairs opens, and a hand reaches out and pulls her in. It's her mother. She whispers to her child, "Don't go into the kitchen. I heard it too"

    perfect with this song ha!

  • probably less than 500,000 people watch this video because i went to this video about more than 30 times... soo divide that?? and thats how many ppl actually lisetn to burial?? wut?

  • Why is this song so awesome? Is it the Silent Hill sample? Is it the dreamy (wrong word choice?) feel of the music? God... Why can't there be more Musicians like this in the world?

  • So epic ^.^

  • Feeling really hungover and shit on new years day this tune is lifting me up a bit

  • Only one thing is certain dear friends!!

Categorising and sub categorising music is only a way to make the distribution companies as well as the digital and non stores lives easier. Is only a logistic bit, out of many more, before a piece of music is released.

    :)

  • Burial makes life amazing.

  • Burial doesn't need drugs.

    Drugs need him.

  • burial su mellusu

  • I understand Burial doesnt produce to any kind of formula, it just comes from within.....

but how would you catagorise this music? DUB perhaps?

  • There are a few moments in my life where this song would have just been perfect

  • it's so soulful. However how non-grown up it may sound, it brings me into a childish state whereas I feel the voice singing through me.

  • You know, i love my ex girlfriend so much, i cant cry now it's too late, but i can listen that and this is better.

  • Reminds of some of the stuff Stefan Betke (Pole) does.

  • rainymood (dot) com makes this sound better :) adds a cracked vinyl touch too it try it

  • A Burial track a day - Keeps the doctor Away

  • SPEEDING DOWN THE HIGH WAY DEAD OF NIGHT COMTEMPLATING THIS LIFE CALLED MY OWN

  • i don't have any kind of drug addiction, sleep problem or mental instability, I just enjoy listening to this song and I don't care about you guys

  • I met a girl one night at a club...

The next day I added her on my friend's list...

She wanted to hear what kind of music I listen to...

    I sent her this song...

    She said ''Wow, that's scary...''

She was deleted from my friends list...

  • @ConferoMusic she must be a retard

  • @ConferoMusic What if it was like a "Wow, that's scary...", as in she was engaged in the music strongly, and it sort of gave her the spooks; not like, she thought that it's scary that you listen to this music. I can see how this music can be a bit spooky, especially to someone not familiar to the style.

  • @Netugi yea that's exactly what she said... she was scared by the music itself not me listening to it...how can you anyone with any heart be scared by this?... this music is straight from the heart... if you find this scary in any way, you dont have one...and people like that have no place in my life...

  • @ConferoMusic People interpret art in different ways.

  • @ConferoMusic

There are many people who are afraid of the depth

  • @pintrash send me other references I love it

  • @ConferoMusic maybe she did think it was scary. just think of it from a perspective outside of your own. it is clear that in this music that there's a lot of emotion and who knows maybe she meant scary as in very eerie or melancholy, which it most certainly is.

  • @clemmstar It was the best decision, why would you want to be with girl who can't feel music fith you. A beauty face fades but music does not. @ConferoMusic if a hot guy said that to me, I'da done the same thing...

  • @ConferoMusic That's an idiotic attitude to have

  • @TheMaskedBloke

"if" this story is true from conferomusic .. i only could congratulate him !

music taste can say much about a person .

  • @ConferoMusic lol

  • @ConferoMusic So you listen to Burial and think you're fucking great? you and those 47+ ppl who believed your shite are fucking idiots.

  • @Hashpotato watchout, we got a badass overhere!...

  • This makes you feel so small in the world..

  • Dont use drugs, just listen

  • For me, Burial is like blah blah blah. I don't fucking care.

  • @homer091 like someone else said before me. GO LISTEN TO SKRILLEX THEN AHAHAHHAHAHA

  • For anyone who thinks skrillex is better than Burial, is just a amature to music and can't comprehend the complexity of Burial's sound

  • aaah hippo butt explosion, my dubstep listening companion

  • boring

    i like skrillex bettr

  • @pedobear123 Then Go Listen To Skrillex. Smh

  • Wow this is perfect peace I'm lost for words omg!!!!

  • Y U FUCK MY MIND??

  • @ohemgefatality Y MIND U FUCK MY?

  • @bpdubstep my friend... I think u are absolutly genius...

  • If London had a theme tune, this would be it.

Scary ghosts and nice sprites would be like Detroit or some American shithole.

  • @airex12 scary monsters*

  • @airex12 Really? Nice way to get racist over music. Asshole.

  • @SRSLYlolWTF

    lol!

  • @airex12 detroit's jokes but yh i feel you.

  • @airex12 Scary 'monsters' and nice sprites ;) but yes i agree with you 100%

  • @airex12 I'm American, but Detroit is probably the shittiest place in the country. That or Camden, New Jersey. Did you know that a show about surviving in the post-apocalyptic world was filmed in the run down areas (most of the city) of Detroit because it was so damn accurate? Awful place.

  • I believe this song releases vast amounts of endorphin into the body :)

  • mangoat goes well with it: watch?v=VgAXZHMi_ws

  • If you love this deep, peaceful feeling this track gives you, do also check out Stevie b zet - metropole.

    watch?v=5T8XKbnoTGk

It makes me feel like i am flowing through outer space..

And so does his song "Scottys arrival"

I don't want to promote anything. I just want to share this awesome feeling with you!

  • moving stones underneath the surface of water - best song for me.

  • @ShadowAudio No need for extra sound, its perfect the way it is.

  • new unreleased tune: burial Geisha

  • This is just way too beautiful to be described..

  • I swear, this is beautiful. it carries me away. I close my eyes and feel a strange sense of peace. Magnificent.

  • What's dubstep?

I thought I was listening to Burial.

  • Burials pads are beyond beautiful one of the best producers to date.

  • 00:26 beautiful pic lol

  • endorfingottam magam

  • Burial empties my mind from every thought and fills my heart with emotion. No other artist can do that.

  • @portishphonic I love Burial, so I thought I'd point out to a fellow awesome music lover a couple of other very interesting musicians that I listen to in a similar vein to as Burial: Mezzanine era Massive Attack, John Cage and neurofunk- era Xilent may all be worth checking out :)

  • @portishphonic Well said. I was just thinking of how it feels like an interesting blend of coldness and emotion.

  • @portishphonic

You should definitely try out Nujabes aswell, think you will appreciate his music

  • Perfect music for a come down

  • @kingbeatsoz Too right brother.

  • @kingbeatsoz couldnt agree more

  • reminds me of populous

  • I dont know what some people are bothered by.. but this kind of music doesnt relate to drugs (Acid mostly commented).. I dont use any drugs, i dont even drink alchohol, i listen to Burial because its relaxing, and i had sleeping problems and most medicines never really helped alot but Burial helped, i found a solution in my life to find peace, i guess u guys can use some rest too.

  • @PrayKargo burial songs are amazing

  • @PrayKargo - I think that for some of us. . . especially in dominant culture. . . it takes a drug to bring us into a moment so powerfully that we remember how vivid and visceral music can be. Especially really damn good music. We feel the texture and overwhelming sense of power that music has -- or rather, that our mind has when processing sound organized in time. If you experience that, it's hard to hear good music and not think of LSD, mushrooms, or weed.

  • @PrayKargo This music relates ALOT to drugs actually. I also do not partake in drug taking FYI.

  • @PrayKargo idiot

  • @PrayKargo i heard weed was good for sleeping problems.

  • @PrayKargo "I don't do drugs, I am drugs" - Salvador Dali

  • @PrayKargo same here :*

  • @PrayKargo you some kind of monk or something?

  • Amazing :)

  • fuckmy stupid fucking life

  • one word.. emotional

i wander what burial thinks of when he makes his music, id love too know about burials life he must of had alot of shit go on too be this talented

  • Quality tune but it's even better because it makes people type like dick heads

  • I hate there songs! Some1 please tell me hoe this guy got the top spot in Dubstep?

  • @jameswray50 because his song are so special and unique.

  • @jameswray50 maybe when you got bored of stuff like flux pavilion nero etc you will listen to where dubstep started off, then you will realise why this guy got top spot.

  • @jameswray50 by being himself and producing sound coming from his mind and soul , simple as that .. go somewhere else people who enjoy music dont hate on other peoples music ... that is , if you understand music

  • @jameswray50 well, he started dubstep... shit you listen is brostep, which is a different genre

  • if you like Burial please check this song from my upcoming 2012 album and let me know what do you think soundcloud com /stevanblack/i-come-with-the-noise

  • @stefander777 Took a listen to that track man, just a couple of pointers. Some bass, even sub-bass would seriously help it out. Also, towards the end when the other layers go on you might want to look at cleaning it up a bit, the levels go a bit crazy - it doesn't need such a busy sound, it's got some real potential. Oh, and make it longer man, with some bass I could chill to that, but it needs to be more than 2 minutes!

  • @xXTheSockRockerXx Thanks man for checking this track and advices : ) I always try to make intense and short tracks but on this record I will try to put longer songs (around 4 minutes). This one is the most messy sounding so the new one will be more clean : )

  • @stefander777 Safe man, it was a good vibe. The secret ingredient with Burial I've always found is the way he is absolutely not afraid to show vulnerability and sadness in his tracks. Its bold music that people always seems to listen to in a respectful silence. If you are attempting to capture a similar kind of tone, then I really think that track could become something pretty special, given a bit of work.

  • watch silent hill right before the end credits and it might sound familiar..

  • amazing!!!

  • FUCKING RELAXING!!!!!!!!

  • scariest song from burial!!! it sounds like that voice sample says mama, it's like why u aborted me. holly crap gotta stop burning trees...

  • love the Lost Carol sample. eep...

  • How To Enjoy This Masterpiece:

    1. Turn the volume to a suitable level.

    2. Pause the video

    3. Go on rainymood(dot)com

    4. ENJOY

Please sub if this helped :)

  • @ShadowAudio that's really beautifoul

  • @ShadowAudio no you definitely don't need a cheesy rain generator to enjoy burial...

  • @ShadowAudio You are a GOD... I can never listen to this song the same ever again without this...

  • @ShadowAudio Took your advice and Oh my God! Absolutely unreal! Effort mate

  • @ShadowAudio Super Duper!

  • @ShadowAudio Super Duper!

  • @ShadowAudio DUDE IT SOUNDS LIKE SHIT WITHOUT THE RAIN !

  • @ShadowAudio thats prrrretty chill

  • @ShadowAudio

    rainymood(dot)com/watch?v=OtEBEVC0HUc <<-- much easier way ;)

  • thumbs up if you recognize the Silent Hill sample in the song.

  • @Jabberwock156 WHAATTTTT???? Silent Hill is like my favourite and I fail to recognize any SH sample in this song. where?!?!

  • @Electrochronica Listen "Lost Carol" from the SH3 soundtrack. The pitch of the vocals are modified but you can clearly listen is the same track.

  • @Electrochronica 00:20 its there

listen to "youre not here" from silent hill 3

  • @thegreatvagabon Im very familiar with that song, but I still dont hear the similarities. do you mean when a childish sounding voice begins singing? Im sorry im just a bit frustrated haha i want to get to the bottom of this!!! :P

  • @Electrochronilike if you listen to the silent hill song and the women goes "yeah yeah eeeh yeaaaaaa" like after when she sings the main stuff. and then come back and listen to 00:20 of this video it's the same.

  • @Jabberwock156 no? where?

  • chelmsey wood RIOT!!

  • This song made me love Burial. Solidified him in my selection of music.

  • Lost Carol♥♥

  • skrillex > burial

  • @DroiidLife puahah you're kidding

  • @DroiidLife NEVER compare Burial to Skrillex! Burial is a GOD! i really hope this was a joke.

  • @aqwsz9898 Where did you get the picture they so sick.

  • I've listened to Burial constantly. I've heard his tunes numerous times. I've done this with other artists and after a while, their songs lose their touch. With Burial, I'm blown away every time. Every single time.

  • 5 mins after your hot shower following your aerobic workout, you and this song are one....

  • sillent hill 3 intro

  • powerful.

  • When you've been there for someone and done everything you can for them, and then someone else comes along and replaces you in an instant.

This is real music, it's as if it reaches to what I'm feeling and fucking expresses it in an audible form.

  • grunntt** just feel it

  • Listening to this song on my new Sennheiser HD 428's while watching birds on my backyard hopping through the grass as the sun is slowly setting down...

  • who cares about the who the what the where, its clear that burial is one of the most creative and original producers this country has. THAT IS A FACT..

  • lol at the 289 of us who admitted coming here after WSARLT London :D ... Now because she was hot, or you, liked the song lol ;)

  • the video is not in sync with the song at all.

  • this is like the music from ecco the dolphin video game

  • this has a similar haunting effect as brian eno - an ending.

  • good shit to listen to when your alone in the dark stoned.

  • @aqwsz9898 Where's 0:37?

  • I don't understand how I've never heard of this guy before, it seems so wrong that today is the first day I've heard this song

  • @SRSLYlolWTF And yet you have SO much more to discover from this amazing fellow... trust me.

  • I feel genuinely attached to this tune.

  • WTF? This is from "Lost Carol" from Silent Hill 3 OST

  • @AmaurisPD yeah it's sampled in the song

  • @HelbaRion

lol, and here i thought i had made some sort of discovery. I didn't know that was a pretty known fact :P

  • @AmaurisPD idk if its a well known fact or not lol I was just answerin your question

  • @HelbaRion

ooohh, so it's said: "well known fact" and not "pretty known fact" xD. One learns something every day.

    Thanks for your answer.

  • @AmaurisPD he sampled metal gear solid too

  • @snehesten

thanks for the info. i didn't know that :)

  • @AmaurisPD on another track though

  • @AmaurisPD ye i think so

  • i wish this piece of art was longer... i can't stop playing it......

  • love the thing in the background that kind of grows at 0:41

  • now THIS is dubstepp <333 not those fcking brosteps all over youtube

  • @rainfallsnk yea man

  • @rainfallsnk

this is actually ambient. Learn what dubstep actually is before you attempt to ostracize other forms of music.

  • this...while on ayahuasca/DMT......LSD.....mescaline.......mushrooms...

  • @xDimethyltryptaminex Hey man. I too, love Burial pre-during-post psy excursions. But, even without any, he is a tops artist. Just as transporting sober as while tripping.. that takes an ear, and some talent.. <3

  • this is intense man

  • This song is amazing. It gives me goosebumps every time.

  • amazing! sittin in Latvia, I can be in night Lodnon
