Ohio state played an amazing game. Texas could'nt run the ball so it was all up to colt McCoy. There defense was amazing. Texas averages 45 PPG Ohio state only let them score 3 in the first half and 24 points in the final score. There defense came to play.

I would have to say that OSU played better then UT. Here is why:

For the first half, ohio state held texas down to only a field goal. The first half would obviously go to Ohio State.

3rd Quarter:A tiring OSU Defence with the quick play offence gave Texas the edge and added with an inability to drive on the offensive side.

4th Quarter: with a huge Boeckman pass, the osu spirit came back where our Offence was able to get in 2 touchdowns. Our D held back Texas until their last drive.

Of course the system is not perfect. There are a number of teams who could lobby for the top 2 spots. Texas, Utah, USC, Penn St(before they lost the Rose), even Alabama. My point is that Texas did not have a big game which they needed to show voters they are #1. That game hurt them no doubt.

Not that it matters. After seeing Texas play, I'm convinced the BCS got it right by not including them in the National Championship game. I just hope Oklahoma can have a little better showing, but I doubt it. The SEC is really the best conference. Florida should dominate them.
