This was a profoundly beautiful movie. Like Gibson himself, it is also a profoundly flawed movie. The inclusion of the scene of her rushing to Him as child did NOT enhance the scene. The message was conveyed w/ just her rushing to him under the cross.

A man of love would not disregard another man's interpretation of love and the meaning to a story. Religion may die but a new belief will come alive!!!

Well, God used all the criticism and used it for his glory! same thing with Jesus: He healed the sick, made the blind see, and made the dead rise and people STILL hated him! but all the criticism really grabbed people's attention and made people want to know more about Him. What the devil uses for evil can sometimes be used for God's glory! and if you ask me I think John Debney deserved that Oscar because this music is amazing:)
