true... but andriod's OS is open source, which is great to have for developers like myself. I think I'm going to go with the G1, just so I can mod the heck out of it for my liking =p. But don't get me wrong, iphones are amazing, I got like 4 cousins with them.

it didnt have multi touch because iphone patented the technology and asked google not to include it. as you can see from hacker's work, multi touch is possible ...google has option of update ...

its not an app yo, its in the settings in security setytings i think, i have the g1 but dont use the lock

Um, in your description you list as it not having multitouch as "unforgiveable"? Go ahead and tell me which other top PDA besides the iPhone has it? Oh...NONE? Maybe that's because Apple has it PATENTED. And STILL, Google and HTC put the multitouch functionality in the phone, it is only not activated (legal issues). Thats right, since Android is open source, all it needs is someone to enable it, which has already been done by certain people.

Video Capture, playback and Adobe Flash apps are on the way in the new year. As for poor battery times... Charge your phone each night or turn WiFi off and screen brightness down.

Don't get this phone if your not smart enough to charge your phone every night. Video recorder is on the way check Market within the next few weeks. Video players are here but you have to re-encode video, hopefully something compatible with this and able to run xvid/divx might popup soon. Online radio/video streaming programs are also coming.

do not get this phone i have it and the battery life is horrible,cant save pictures being sent 2 you from a friend or family, and you cant record your own video. come on now if it wants 2 be better than the iphone, then it has 2 do all these things..ami i right???

the phone has many many pros and cons. if u would like me to get into detail let me know. if i were you i would wait until they come out with a G2. most of the bugs will be improved.
