Aw I'm sorry to hear she has a brain tumour. {:'( I had two male rats (Tod & Alvin) they were really sweet. They both had the respiratory infection that rats are prone to, I ended up having to have Alvin put to sleep because he developed breathing difficulty. Tod made it to old age, he got two tumours. One on his back, and than one in his mouth. Had both of them removed I love rats as pets wish they weren't so prone to health problems. {:(
did u give her chocolate? she's beautiful, though! we have a rat (ratason) who is 2 1/2 years old too! her heart is 3 times the size i should be, and on x-ray, she looks like she has 3 lungs!
Sula is my adored heart rat. I LOVE her. She has suspected pituitary tumour.
Sula looks not too bad in the video, but her behaviour is markedly different from her usual self. She no longer uses her pawhands to hold food, shakes her head lots, 'bucks' back when her head is stroked, weaves her head from side to side (not like ratty sniffing the air but short repetitive side to side), is prone to falling, losing balance, weak grip, is disorientated & confused - not her usual determined curious self
