  • Oh good grief! Is THAT all there is to it? Why do all other instructions make it seem like such a big deal? I just that moment finished the binding on a baby quilt that I had been putting off because I HATE that stupid join. Thank you so very much Marci. Your instructions are perfect! I didn't time myself but it couldn't have taken more than a minute or two. I also took your advice and didn't press the binding in half. Excellent idea.

  • Excellent. I play it every time I need to finish the binding. Thank you.

  • Great idea!!! I'm using this on my next quilt!!!!

  • Yeah thanks. I hate the binding tool that I can never get right and have to watch a video every time on how to use the dumb thing. In the trash it goes! Thanks.

  • beautiful.... thanks for the tutorial... :)

  • The only thng I would add to this excellent video is the explanation of right and wrong sides of the binding. Maybe it's a given to some, but I struggled with this otherwise perfect video.

  • fantastic! and no tool too! thank you!

  • Excellent! I weeded through a lot of other videos before finding this. This was exactly what I was needing. Very, very helpful.

    Thanks a bunch!

  • That worked perfectly!! I usually just fumble around and get it done but this is now my only way to do it. Thanks

  • Thank you! This was very helpful.

  • Easy to understand and beautiful to do. This may make me like binding!

  • Much better explaining and showing then the last video I watched on the same subject! I didn't even finish watching the last one, I gave up because she lost me. Your directions are very clear and understandable. Thanks so much!

  • why do that...use a binding too....cheap and easy to use

  • Marci, many thanks! Your video saved me many hours of frustration as I am just finishing a quilt for my girlfriend's 1st grandbaby. This is just my 2nd quilt; I appreciate your wisdom and experience. My binding looks great now thanks to your excellent instruction. Thank you again. And sew it is.

  • Wow, you saved me. Thanks so much.

  • Thank you so much!!!! Love this technique.

  • thank you it helped me to finish my first quilt without extra tools!

  • This was so easy. I've been fighting with binding on my first quilt for hours and I turned your video on and within ten minutes I had completed my binding. I would love to give you a hug lol. Thanks so much

  • worked like a charm!...i highly recommend this method...

  • I really enjoyed your video, understood every step..went to your site and ordered binding and mitered corner sheets.

    Kudo's to you,

    Linda

  • THANK YOU!!!! I have struggled with this through 3 quilts and FINALLY, it makes sense. So simple the way you demonstrate. Thanks again!

  • Thankyou Marci! Your method is great, simple, and it really helped to see it demonstrated so well. I will skip ironing the binding on my next quilt!

  • Much appreciated Marci!

  • BEST example of this I have found - and tonight I've been pouring over books, pdf files and other videos. Thanks!!

  • Thank you for a great video on joining bias neatly to a quilt.

  • OH MY GOSH ....... OOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhh .....wow .... it really works. It took me a couple of replays to make sure I was following the directions exactly, but it worked..... the first time. Thank you oh thank you....

  • I too like the idea of not ironing a fold into the binding and now I understand why. I really like not having to use a ruler or measuring to find out where to sew that connecting seam of the two ends of the binding. You've made this part of the binding process so easy to understand and achieve. Thanks, Marci!

  • Thank you so very much for helping me be successful, for the first time, in perfectly joining the ends of my binding! Your videos are wonderful, and I bless you for making them available free!

  • Anyone, name a famous magician from Las Vegas- Oops! your wrong, It's Marci!

  • This is the best binding ending advice I have seen! This can be very confusing...but Marci makes it quite clear. I also like the idea of NOT ironing a fold into the binding.

    THANK YOU FOR SHARING.

  • It really help me in finishing my binding. Thanks again

  • This was extremely helpful in completing my quilt. Thanks!

  • Excellent! Thank you for sharing your technique. Arranging the ends in an "X" or a "Cross," after finding and then pinning the critical point , and then sewing from edge to edge and through the critical point, looks so much easier than other methods I've been taught. I've bookmarked your video and I'll definitely be trying this method on my very next binding.

  • Very helpful!

  • This was AWESOME! thank you so much :P

  • Thank you so SO much for this video! It was so easy to follow, I had gone through several videos and this worked a treat :)
