In many countries around the Mediterranean Sea , East Europe and Mid-Eastern countries it is completely normal that when male friends or familymembers meet eachother, they hug or even kiss in a way to greet eachother. The word "gay" is a strong word. The fact of the matter is that it's very natural for boys to be boys and be drawn to each other, physically and emotionally.  Being gay is so much farther beyond two guys being close and learning about each other, and yes- even being intimate. It doesn't have to mean they're gay. It has always been that way, and it will always be that way. Men are attracted to men, and of course women.
