I don't know if you'd call IPF pro, but they test for drugs and I seriously doubt anybody gets away with it.

I think a lot of lifters beat the tests. Urine testing is woefully beatable. Only about a 70% reliability rate.

I hate to break it to you, but every pro powerlifter is on juice and/or HGH. I know  a lot of non-pro lifters who rely on HGH for a competitive edge and a few that know how to beat the tests. So I'm positive the pros are just full of it. Too bad Coan got caught.

It's sad that a man that could've been a legend was washed up because of bad decisions on his cycles. What drugs did he test pos for? How many times did he test pos to receive a life sentence? Besides all the dope he's still a strong lifter. If only he'd of lifted in the pros instead of ridiculous drug testing.

There are much larger meets in the US with much better lifters that are DRUG FREE. Ed Coan is DRUG CHEAT plain and simple. The USAPL barred him from competing after the IPF banned him for life. When it was announced that ED Coan would be barred everyone stood up and gave a STANDING OVATION. ED COAN IS A PARIAH.
