i love this toy. i ordered it. i think this is the best arcee toy that i've ever seen. the other arcee toys i've seen i'm not really interested in. but there's something about this one that makes it special. anyway i can't wait to get her

The Arcee I picked up at TRU has an issue where her left arm doesn't fit into the ball joint. It keeps popping off. Hopefully I can find another that isn't so delicate.
The one thing I like about this figure and one of the only reasons I might pick up a DOTM Topspin is the fact that you can equip Arcee with some goofy weapons. Mine is sporting Sideswipes gun sword mechtech weapon and I may use the added weapons from topspin to Arcee to give her blasters since the blades are a bit big for her.

Any thoughts on repainting Arcee's forearms to make her a little more show accurate? Considering that route for mine but have no idea what type of paint works best on this kind of plastic.
I Love Female Transformers that have a fun transformation ( Like animated Arcee and Prime Arcee ). why doesn't Hasbro produce more females? the Revenge of the fallen Bike girls was a let down because they simply sucked as a toy, it wasn't because they were female. so why don't we get more Fembots?

My favorite character was always sound wave through out all of the transformers series but I find my self loving Arcee a lot more in TFP, I'm pretty sure it's the color scheme or character development.

She actually stands up on her own... wow they managed to balance her well enough that she can stand... I lot of the figures like that wont. I had the Armada Hotshot figure and he didn't stand on his own. Love it... want it!

.....so i saw 2 versions of cliffjumper.....are they replacing the previous one with the newer released one or having both and previous one just deluxe and this newer one a voyager.....
@TheFoxytots They're releasing the bulkier one as part of the First Edition line in regular and Terrorcon variations, then the new mold with the fake roof on his chest will be in the main release in March.

I'm a real big fan of the TFP series, it's the only TF series I like, besides G1 of course, all the others in between just seemed to overdue everything.
And I love Arcee, she's one of my favourite characters, although saying that, I like them all pretty much equelly, it's just one of those shows were you just can't pick one character above the rest.

Wow I just finished the ending to the season of TF Prime and I am glad it is coming back it was an awesome series already. I will more them likely get the toys for this series. I won't give any spoilers but if you have seen any of Prime you should watch.

While the Arcee Deluxe is alright, I wouldn't go so far as to say it's one of the best in the series line up thus far. Frankly, I don't think they did as good a job with her design as they could have. So many part of her look just bulked out and clunky where they should be streamlined. I understand size is a factor with design and a larger Arcee figure would look far better. Still. Also, not having her trademark "wings" and not giving her brow spear and chin guards the right color? Bit let down.
@RogueScholarBlue How does she not have the right color chin? Are you thinking her chin guard thing is black in the show? You would be wrong. As much as you think you might be right. It is blue. Go look better. Also she does have her "Wing" on the toy however they aren't that accurate. Those are the side panels you see on the toys shoulders. Those are the "Wings" unfortunately. So they aren't in the accurate place but they are there.
@HFalconYT Perhaps the video quality is not great, but, from what I've seen here and in photo stills her brow spear and two chin guards running down the sides are the same silver polymer color as her face. In the show they are somewhat pink in color, a nod to her previous color scheme in the Gen-1 Era. It's a small thing, but I none the less feel it's a fail in regards to detail. As to her Wings, if the side panels are supposed to be said wings, that's another fail.
@RogueScholarBlue I dunno, they look a slightly different colour to me on this vid, metallic but with a pinkish tinge, the same as the metallic stripes on her legs. It may depend on what resolution you're viewing it on etc. but there's a definite contrast.
The wings aren't perfect but they look better here than they've appeared in pics where they just looked like arm panels.
@RogueScholarBlue No they are pink. And her chin is blue. It might just be that you can't see them very well. But they are. And maybe not as pink as they could be though. The wings are fail but they are still there at least. Also I don't know why they didn't put the blue arm or pink paint aps on her wrist. So yeah there is some fail. Not bad though for the first version. Just trying to let you know that some points you pointed out as complaints ARE indeed there unlike how you stated it.

Bottom-line, and I attest that these are my own viewpoints, I don't think Arcee got the attention to quality and detail that the other figures did. Seems it's harder for them to do something like a Bike I guess. I am hoping for an updated version or Arcee later on. A better one. I mean they are already doing two completely different Cliffjumper molds and what... he was in the show for like 15 minutes... lol.. Oh well.
@HFalconYT Not sure if it has anything to do with her vehicle mode as it does with the fact that she's a, well, "she." Despite the popularity of the character among the Transformers/Prime fanbase, Hasbro still believes that the male 'bots are more marketable. Sadly, it doesn't look like that will change and, equally sadly, I find myself torn. If I buy this figure to support the character it will send a message that I don't care for quality. If I don't buy it, less chance of better in the future.
@RogueScholarBlue I don't think that is the reasoning at all. Arcee and Black Arachnia in animated show contrary to what you are saying. So does previous BA toys like Beast Machines and Universe (Same mold). So yeah I don't really agree with your reasoning.
@RogueScholarBlue I think you underestimate the mainstream popularity of Arcee. In the show, Jack and Arcee get way more screen-time than the other bot partnerships, I'm sure she'll be more popular than Bulkhead. Maybe not Bumblebee... just because he's Bumblebee.
@Strand0410 Quite the contrary, I'm more then aware of her popularity among the fanbase as I share it, in spades. Sadly it is Hasbro that doesn't appear to see her as being more marketable and, as such, worthy of greater quality in her figures over, say, Cliffjumper, who has *two* different figures due to release. As with other companies, despite what the fans say, the suits believe they know better. Result? This somewhat lackluster Arcee. I can only hope for something better in the future.
@RogueScholarBlue I have to disagree, I think they did a marvelous job with Arcee. There are so many ways she could have gone wrong, especially when we first saw her initial photos with terrible mistransformations. Any compromises with Arcee are not unique to her, one need only compare her to the Prime next to her in the video and see that she's actually a pretty good compromise, especially with her difficult (and cheaty) design in the show. Any bulk she has was distributed proportionally, IMO.
@Cmguy89 To each their own. As I've stated in other posts, these are my observations and I in no way demand that other's share them. That said, I stand by my belief that, while not the worst thing they could have produced (as seen by earlier, and terrible, concepts) it really feels like they could have done far more in designing her figure to better incorporate the transformation and hide the clunky bits (her handlebars, blades) and add greater, accurate, detail, i.e. her wings. Again, my view.
@RagaRBM Yeah, kind of aware of what it is considering the fact that I referred to it *as* the aforementioned Deluxe Figure. And that's my point. While it was not the worst thing in the world the figure is a *Deluxe* edition and, as such, deserved, I feel, a higher level of detail and quality then what it got. Again, it's not as terrible as it might have been. Hasbro has released some truly bad figures over the years and while this isn't amongst them I just feel it could have been, IMHO, more.

@Slashercon It's pretty illogical to believe that one deluxe figure should be significantly larger than the other just for show accuracy, which is what I believe purpleman was trying to imply.

While the Arcee Deluxe is alright, I wouldn't go so far as to say it's one of the best in the series line up thus far. Frankly, I don't think they did as good a job with her design as they could have. So many part of her look just bulked out and clunky where they should be streamlined. I understand size is a factor with design and a larger Arcee figure would look far better. Still. Also, not having her trademark "wings" and not giving her brow spear and chin guards the right color? Bit let down.

@RogueScholarBlue How does she not have the right color chin? Are you thinking her chin guard thing is black in the show? You would be wrong. As much as you think you might be right. It is blue. Go look better. Also she does have her "Wing" on the toy however they aren't that accurate. Those are the side panels you see on the toys shoulders. Those are the "Wings" unfortunately. So they aren't in the accurate place but they are there.

@HFalconYT Perhaps the video quality is not great, but, from what I've seen here and in photo stills her brow spear and two chin guards running down the sides are the same silver polymer color as her face. In the show they are somewhat pink in color, a nod to her previous color scheme in the Gen-1 Era. It's a small thing, but I none the less feel it's a fail in regards to detail. As to her Wings, if the side panels are supposed to be said wings, that's another fail.

@RogueScholarBlue I dunno, they look a slightly different colour to me on this vid, metallic but with a pinkish tinge, the same as the metallic stripes on her legs. It may depend on what resolution you're viewing it on etc. but there's a definite contrast.
The wings aren't perfect but they look better here than they've appeared in pics where they just looked like arm panels.

@RogueScholarBlue No they are pink. And her chin is blue. It might just be that you can't see them very well. But they are. And maybe not as pink as they could be though. The wings are fail but they are still there at least. Also I don't know why they didn't put the blue arm or pink paint aps on her wrist. So yeah there is some fail. Not bad though for the first version. Just trying to let you know that some points you pointed out as complaints ARE indeed there unlike how you stated it.

@HFalconYT Looking back on my original post, I don't see anything all that different from how I explained my observations to you the second time. But, that's neither here nor there. Bottom-line, and I attest that these are my own viewpoints, I don't think Arcee got the attention to quality and detail that the other figures did. Again, I understand that size is a major factor in how well these Transformers figures are put together and designed, however I just feel they could have done better.

@RogueScholarBlue Yup they sure could have done better. It seems all the cons are getting the better looking toys for now. Like they focused more on the Robot modes then the vehicles. Seems it's harder for them to do something like a Bike I guess. I am hoping for an updated version or Arcee later on. A better one. I mean they are already doing two completely different Cliffjumper molds and what... he was in the show for like 15 minutes... lol.. Oh well.

@HFalconYT Not sure if it has anything to do with her vehicle mode as it does with the fact that she's a, well, "she." Despite the popularity of the character among the Transformers/Prime fanbase, Hasbro still believes that the male 'bots are more marketable. Sadly, it doesn't look like that will change and, equally sadly, I find myself torn. If I buy this figure to support the character it will send a message that I don't care for quality. If I don't buy it, less chance of better in the future.

@RogueScholarBlue I don't think that is the reasoning at all. Arcee and Black Arachnia in animated show contrary to what you are saying. So does previous BA toys like Beast Machines and Universe (Same mold). So yeah I don't really agree with your reasoning.

@RogueScholarBlue I think you underestimate the mainstream popularity of Arcee. In the show, Jack and Arcee get way more screen-time than the other bot partnerships, I'm sure she'll be more popular than Bulkhead. Maybe not Bumblebee... just because he's Bumblebee.

@Strand0410 Quite the contrary, I'm more then aware of her popularity among the fanbase as I share it, in spades. Sadly it is Hasbro that doesn't appear to see her as being more marketable and, as such, worthy of greater quality in her figures over, say, Cliffjumper, who has *two* different figures due to release. As with other companies, despite what the fans say, the suits believe they know better. Result? This somewhat lackluster Arcee. I can only hope for something better in the future.

@RogueScholarBlue I have to disagree, I think they did a marvelous job with Arcee. There are so many ways she could have gone wrong, especially when we first saw her initial photos with terrible mistransformations. Any compromises with Arcee are not unique to her, one need only compare her to the Prime next to her in the video and see that she's actually a pretty good compromise, especially with her difficult (and cheaty) design in the show. Any bulk she has was distributed proportionally, IMO.

@Cmguy89 To each their own. As I've stated in other posts, these are my observations and I in no way demand that other's share them. That said, I stand by my belief that, while not the worst thing they could have produced (as seen by earlier, and terrible, concepts) it really feels like they could have done far more in designing her figure to better incorporate the transformation and hide the clunky bits (her handlebars, blades) and add greater, accurate, detail, i.e. her wings. Again, my view.

@RagaRBM Yeah, kind of aware of what it is considering the fact that I referred to it *as* the aforementioned Deluxe Figure. And that's my point. While it was not the worst thing in the world the figure is a *Deluxe* edition and, as such, deserved, I feel, a higher level of detail and quality then what it got. Again, it's not as terrible as it might have been. Hasbro has released some truly bad figures over the years and while this isn't amongst them I just feel it could have been, IMHO, more.
