  • Gotta be on time to send tofu.

  • real life initial D

  • could somebody tell me if that's front wheel or back wheel braking? its front right?

  • @agomaster5 WTF do you mean? It's Front engine rear wheel drive...with all wheel disc brakes and NO ABS.

  • @sleomazzola thank you

  • @sleomazzola that's what i meant to ask.

  • @agomaster5 You know nothing about drifting or you have a real bad trip on something. LOL

  • @molnarjanos92 its called trolling u should try it sometime.i guess i got u too.. this was an old one lol

  • Damn! Why isn't this video any longerrrrr?!!!

  • THEE Drift King!!

  • He REALLY! is the DRIFT KING!

  • He and takumi should go 1v1

  • This is how real drift should looks (atleast for me), not big angle and a lot of smoke, but fast as hell slide to be faster on turns.

  • @Cadabra91

Agree, but you got to please the masses in america over the few. They don't understand the skill difference over japanese drifting and WRC over just pull the hand break and nail the gas.

  • I love the sound of 4A-GE 20V

  • So smooth, no smoke!!!

  • such great entry speed!

  • DOPE ASS CAR , SERIO.

  • this is real drifting, none of the 500hp tire smoke and ridiculous small cars with nascar v8s. tsuchiya is the king, dori kin

  • @Axxisss

Trueno/Levin/AE86 Corolla :Classic Japanese, rear wheel drive, live rear axle, O.G.of drifting, made more famous by the movie Initial D.

But ya know, just a guess.

  • @Axxisss Because it was one of the first cars to be used to drifting I guess.

  • @Axxisss 'cuz the anime "Initial D" popularized the AE86 and drifting. And Initial D is known by many anime fans and the Japanese are anime fans so yeah.....

  • @Axxisss do "I'm Feeling Lucky" in Google on Keiichi Tsuchiya. That's why.

  • sounds like an s2000 kinda

  • Keiichi Tsuchiya = Real life Bunta

  • @freedfighter96 hahahahahaha YUP SO TRUE

  • done correctly

  • 7 people drive the prius

  • @manzrnet And that was 2 weeks ago (Y)

  • is it me or is the sound only coming out of the left speaker?

  • Very seriously considering buying one of these today. I have seen one and I have the money, but its expensive.

  • he is dk:D

  • Sexiest car on earth.

  • hah civic are wack face it!!.you never see HachiRoku with chrome everywhere and things that lame mexicans be doing to hondas! HAHH point proven..well from my perspective

  • @84ROLLAKIDD You never see hachi roku with chrome everywhere cause people think it's a prehistoric piece of shit that isn't worth modifying in terms of looks or they just don't simply know about it. For those street kids civics look waaaay cooler, so they put on their shitty fibre glass bodykits and like cruising. For me the AE86 is a legendary car, but for others it may not be the same.

  • @84ROLLAKIDD i know -.- i used to pride my civic em1 so much, until a lot of posers in my area started picking up these civic lx/ex's and doing the ugliest mods you'd ever seen. saved up and finally bought an Fc.

  • @Zinsian

Ya people hate on Honda's, even I'm guilty on occasion, but it's really the owner that has the power over whether it's worth hating on. For example clean authentic JDM part-built civics are cool as well as functional track civics. However, Altezza tail lights, fart can, and a spoiler (maybe some ebay halo headlights if you wana be a douche) and I will tear you a new one. Unacceptable.

  • Comment removed

  • Long live the Hachi Roku! :D

  • I like how ppl hate on civics. When truly only THE BEST of drifters can keep up with line racing times.

  • Holy shit! I was watching Initial D the other day.

  • sounds like a GTA 3 car

  • man my left ear loves the sound of drifting!

  • @xXxZinadinexXx yaea mine too

  • initial D XD

  • germans have BMW E30 japanes hachiroku =]

  • no... what is life without DRIFT!!

  • tsuchiya could beat a skyline on a 4 wheeler...this guy can do anything with a fuggin car

  • Who thinks it could still deliver tofu?

    lol

  • thumbs up if u think AE86 is teh best in real life and in Initial D games and teh actual anime!!

  • This little show is nothing compare to what he can do on the tracks. There is a reason why they call him drift king.

  • Damn makes me want to trade in a LAN evo for a finely tuned Trueno and it's has to be this model lol

  • tang ina...malupet bata!

  • I really hate to say this but Keiichi Tsuchiya can't be the best because he is not Ayrton Senna. Otherwise he kicks ass.

  • @nitrotrigger You're talking about 2 different style of racing. Ayrton is F1 and Keiichi is controlled sideslip(drifting). But it would be interesting to see them compete against each other, both drifting and grip racing.

  • @nitrotrigger Drifting isn't racing.

  • Good thing the track's smooth or he would've been draggin' that tailpipe all over the place.

  • daaaammn that was smooth/clean

  • So little counter-steer!

  • not bad,... haha- serious ae86, what i'd give to own his own one

  • DUDE that 86' sounds really sick i wish i have it

  • DAMN I love the 4A-GE sound!!

  • tsuchiya has the best driving skills!!

  • DAMN!

    I Love this Car!

  • DAMN!

    I Love This Car!

  • initial D ... thats all i have to say

  • tsuchiya eres la mamada

ya kisiera yo derrapar unos 50 metros

  • Tsuchiya, Is this on Ebisu?

  • This car saved my life.

  • how did it save your life?

  • はい、それは非常に強力なクルマシェルしています。

  • english? :D

  • Hachi-Roku FTW!

That reminds me with my Trueno in IDAS5 LOL

  • It's.

  • Hachi-Roku = 86

  • im looking for non modded drift...damnit

  • oh i got confused

  • shut up ae86 hater

  • ITB´s FTW!!!!!!

  • idk civic can maybe drift but just doing feint drifts idk and plz dont put thumbs down cuz im just wondering XD ty

  • TRD FTW

  • my civic is so much faster it not funny!

  • FUCK YES, HE IS RIGHT!

  • Actually guys, there IS a video of a guy drifting a FWD civic, and it's kinda cool.

Still... If it's not RWD/AWD it's not cool to drift xD

  • fwd isnt drifting, it's called ass dragging ^_^ ricers should leave drifting for the rwd and awd

  • It's the same principle, it's just not as cool is what i was saying. L2read geeeeeze xP

  • XD nice "Ass Dragging

  • You came to the wrong video if you wanted to see an AE86 going fast, this is Keiichi having some fun. I recommend the video 'AE86 vs Skyline R34' if you want to see him actually driving it quickly, with something to compare it to. =)

  • too bad front wheel drive is for n00bs

  • no one cares about ur rice machine, does the rice sometimes burn in your muffler? and speed isn't always the biggest factor in drift

  • i want an AE86!!!

but theyre so expensive for a 20 year old car :(

and plus all my friends say its ugly Dx

i say its the FUCKIN BEST!!

  • este motor no suena como un Toyota, mas bien suena como un B16A2, Honda

  • Keiichi Tsuchiya Drift king

  • What is life without AE86!?! :)

  • @o0oMusTaNgLoVero0o Thats likes saying whats Hip-Hop without KRS-One.

  • @o0oMusTaNgLoVero0o no initial D(scary)

  • @o0oMusTaNgLoVero0o I dont know but I guarantee youve never driven one

  • @816murphy yeah AE86s are are quite rare here in the Philippines.

    lots of AE92s though.

  • @o0oMusTaNgLoVero0o dude isn't Toyota Leafback a Corolla? I remember riding them in Pinas when I was younger. They don't have that here in US

  • @pinoyALLmotorEVOIXMR yes, the lift Back Corolla is a pretty car. oh they don't have there in the US? i rode in one of those too. one thing i love about that car is it was an FR car, just like the AE86.

  • @o0oMusTaNgLoVero0o I'm so embarassed bro since Filipino accent and all, I thought they "leaf" back. Since it makes sense calling it that cuz of the "curves" on the back. We don't have it here in US but I remember riding it there in Pinas when I was a kid. Yeah yeah! I was looking at the AE86 and I thought it's so familiar. But it has flip up headlights and I don't remember the car I used to ride having those

  • @816murphy why not? i have.. my grnadparent have one and they dont even know waht it is

  • Tsuchiya is GOD!!!

  • @decoyla

    oh yea/ man)

  • @decoyla no AE86 is god

  • feint drift!!!!!

  • No smoke, but that was great

  • Vely ord firm. must make new! thank you vely much!

  • DK!!!!

  • โว่ๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆๆ

  • I know I'll get thumbed down here but I was reading the posts here and they seem quite informative. I have a '87 Toyota Corolla SR5 notchback that I have put over 6g in just to get it street worthy and repair body work after two wrecks and I still haven't done any engine work. I like the car but I don't know if I should have poured this much money into a 22 year old car...any responses are welcomed :).

  • well i like old cars in the form of longitude and weight division since the back has kinda like the same weight in the front so u have good control in drifts

  • Is it possible to drift an SW20? I haven't done too many mountain time attacks with mine this year

  • ...it takes a lot more skill than an average car. since the MR2 has such a large rear weight bias, when you brake into a turn, all the rear weight shifts forward. with all that weight on the front tires, its very easy to spin out.

however, if you DONT brake into a turn, its possible to drift. but that means you need to brake beforehand (WAY before the turn) then accelerate into and out of the turn.

  • Keiichi Tsuchiya teaching me to drift in Japan at drift school. Then I come home and convert my awesome civic to rear wheel drive and drift to school, drift karate practice, drift to water polo, drift to soccer and drift to prom and to work.

  • dude, you should try and drive one of these. they are amazingly fun. and you can make these twice as fast for the price of a door on a corvette. and tsuchiya is one of the worlds greatest drivers. stfu.

  • one of he is lol and i agree with ya m8 LYVVRACINGTOU is a prik and jap cars are hands dwn better than american

  • well, each car is built for a certain perpose . domestics are for straits, and tuners are for twisties.

  • i will agree that tsuchiya is one of the greatest drivers (drift wise. never seen him drag).

but i still say the 86 is a horrible car to race with. good to learn, but not enough power to really race. and if you have enough money to make it fast, its better to just get a newer, better car.

ive said this on another post, but even toshiki yoshioka ditched his little tuned out 4 banger AE86 for a v8. he drives a sc430 now.

  • it doesnt take much technique to drag, just timing thats all

  • i guess you can say that...

but on the other hand, isnt drifting mostly timing too? when to downshift, left off brakes, turn...etc etc. it is a more complicated procedure, but nonetheless, it can be all broken down into timing. and if you get your timing perfect, you will be a good drifter.

  • thats also true, in fact i was thinking about that when i made that comment. i just think drag is mostly the car and technical/touge racing is mostly driver

basically, in drag, whoever has the deeper pocket wins

  • u dont need to be in 1st place to win in a drift race. so you can use any car you want.

  • you might not need to be in 1st place, but you need the steepest angle in your drift, and you need to be able to maintain the drift.

the AE86 can get the steep angle (with enough speed), but it cant maintain. with a 400hp car, you can maintain the drift easily, melting tires from beginning of turn to end. with a 125 AE86, its a different story.

  • lol sr20 will do the job. plus a nice turbo and you can get enough hp trust me

  • a SR20 is a great engine, being able to produce 350 horses at the wheels pretty cheaply (with stock internals).

the AE86 engine? nowhere near as good. plus - if you decide to turbo the AE86 to start pushing a good amount of power, the cost it would be to make everything run perfectly for a long time at high RPM would be more than buying Sc430 or something with more power stock.

  • i mean a sr20 IN an ae86

light engine+light car= really freakin fast

  • oh. hahah. i see.

but my retort would be - why not just buy a newer, more powerful car? AE86 goes for 3 grand. the Sr20 goes for another 3-6 (depending on which). plus the install, custom mounts, Ecu...you would spend at least 7-8 grand.

with that money, you could buy yourself a FC Rx7 or a S14 + parts.

  • because you dont need the fastest car lol

  • but if your spending money, why not get the most bang for the buck? why spend 7-8 grand upgrading a car that over 20 years old, if you can get better performance with a younger, more powerful car?

and while its not always the fastest car that wins, it definitely helps.

  • actually it doesnt help

and if your spending money, why not get the car YOU like, not the car OTHERS like

  • ...you have obviously never drifted. or even done a powerslide. power helps. A LOT. especially when we are considering a 120 horsepower AE86.

and if you love the AE86, im not saying dont get it. im just saying, unless you have a special, unbreakable bond with the AE86, there are a lot more cost effective drift cars out there. if you can build a great drift 240sx for 10 grand but it cost a AE86 15 grand to get to the same potential, which would you choose?

  • omg, were not talking about a 120 hp ae were talkin about a 350 or 400 hp ae. so, if you cant drift with that kind of car, then you dont deserve to drift. a little less power wont do a difference.

  • and im saying - DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH MONEY IT TAKES TO BUILD A 400HP AE86???

its a lot more than building a 400hp S13 or S14. at least 5-6k more.

  • lol

if you look back at the start of this conersation, money wasnt in it. so, ye cya, and dont reply plz, i wont read it anyway =P

  • you are ignorant. money was always in it. i brought it in it, and you never acknowledged that i had a point. and i dont listen to ignorant people like you.

  • in my opinion, ae86 is faster than most silvias and rx7's, ive driven ae86, rx7 fc, and s13, and i gotta say, the way an ae86 drives the way it does is beyond my comprehension

  • it's definitely not faster by any means........ but it may handle better, depending on the suspension setup

  • handling is a part of speed

  • its not really a part of speed, but it is dictated by speed. so in a sense yea ur right

  • dictated by speed?

the faster you go through a corner, the faster you arrive at a straight away and the faster you are going through that straightaway

  • yea till u get to straightaway. once your going straight power dictates speed. so going back to your Silvia comment. assuming your talking about a stock ae86, physics say the silvia will pull away. however like all true track drivers, it depends on who's behind the wheel. a better statement would be "you achieved a better laptime with YOUR ae86 then YOUR silvia."

  • precisely, and the thrill is much higher also

  • RX7 would cost to much to keep rebuilding its engine.

The S14 is okay i guess but i would still prefer an AE86

  • ...the FC rx7 never had too many problems. but the FD is a moneypit.

you can take the AE86. ill drift in a S2000.

  • Sorry didnt see you put FC was tired at the time

  • No, he wouldn't...

And he doesn't exist anyways ~

  • Lmao indeed...

  • who knows?

    lol

what if theres a dude with an AE86 as a tofu delivery car and he delivers tofu aorund mountains in like 2 minutes. but his name mite not be takumi. xD

  • Skateandthensome & fallenhardcore seem to be retarded. They don't get jokes everyone else gets.....

    Gay retards.

  • wow.

  • Very good! Enjoy!

    Tamaguchi edition very rare!

  • I am selling a 1986 AE86 that runs and drives with title for $950.

    Located in Houston, TX

  • YOU BS`ing us?!?! AE86`s go for 9000$ in Finland!

  • I tried this kind of driving in my righteous 1978 corvette with the mountain mural and side pipes & under car neons (total chick magnet) but I keep ending up on the sidewalk or in a field. I wish I still had my ae86 with the special edition drift button. But it was kind of slow compared to my sweet Vette.

    R U JEALOUS?

  • I am very jealous Mr.Kennethj;... i am jealous of your ability to troll so many people and they think you are serious.... LOL Do you still wear white disco outfit with your sweet 1978 Corvette? Ha ha ha

You are a classic American jokester! Keep it up!.

  • Mr.kennethj1956 is funny American jokester and tricked you and made funny on you.

  • The reason you do not find Kenneth1956 funny is because you are in Guam (cultural difference) and probably a huge age difference. Someone older knows he is joking around because his post are ridiculous and they remember stupid looking cars like his in the 1970's. He is playing with your young brain and your seriousness. He trolled you and you took the bait. HA HA it is best policy to lighten up!

  • this car is god, and if you really are tsuchiya, teach me your ways! hahah but really. your amazing. i wish you lived over in america. i was drifting the other night, but got caught. the cops let me off with a warning. cant wait to get my 86 coupe.

  • What is power without control?
