  • but just in case people are wondering...

    Aldosound's Aud Mix was used.

Choreo was def inspired by TM, PAC, CADC.

theme was inspired by CG's Ipod theme.

    yes, moves were recycled.

please don't take this to heart.

    plus, we didn't win.

ahahaha but it was definitely fun

and we had fun doing all kinds of different styles.

much PROPS to the southern dance community!

  • yes we DID use the aldosound mix.

it was a good mix and it was great for the opener.

Biola's never had a legit dance thing EVER.

so it was fun getting snippets from popular dances in the community.

  • we're MOS DEF not saying that all of this is original... it's a Mock Rock... we mock things that are popular... we would NEVER show this at a major comp. are you kidding?!?!? ahaha this was just for fun. we promise. thanks rosie!

  • hey guys...

we definitely agree with everyone on this one...

this was a small Mock Rock competition at our school. Basically we copy whatever popular stuff is out there (whether it be dance, music, etc) and almost everything in this is inspired by the southern CA dance community.

    TM, PAC, CG, etc.

  • hi, my name is rosie and i dance for pac modern. i agree with subs on this one..no harm done. i guess it's just nice to give credit when it's due.

p.s. hi marshall! i saw you workin' it out haha

  • p.s. our dj (aka arley aka aldosound aka my boyfriend) would have been more than happy to make a mix for you guys if u just ask! so feel free to keep him in mind and spread the word to anyone that needs a mix.

  • in xopoc's defense, no worries about using our mix or some moves from the audition piece for this routine. it's been done before, and although it's looked down upon by some people, i'm one of many other pacmodern members who are not offended by it. i'm sure if this was the case at one of the major dance comps, it would be an issue. But no harm done. PACMODERN LOVES YOU! DANCING IS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT, and as long as you guys had fun performing, then I'M okay with it. it sure looked fun!

  • Anyway, it took time to make that mix and I would appreciate it if whoever created your mix would have asked for my permission before you used it. Obviously, whoever put your medley together was at PAC Modern auditions last fall and learned the choreography that we taught.

  • hi. my name's arley collado. i also go by aldosound. you guys used a mix that i created for PAC Modern auditions last fall. it's "your" intro song that follows into "Trilogy" by Kelis and fades into "I Go" by Kaz Kyzah.. I notice that some of the choreography in "Trilogy" is somewhat similar to the choreography that was created for PAC Modern auditions.

  • Not to mention, you even stole from Team Millenia. Regardless if you had permission from TM, you definitely did not have permission from PAC Modern. Being influenced by another team is good, but using distinct moves and not giving credit where it is due isn't right.

  • you guys jacked that mix and some choreography from PAC MODERN...that mix was made by Aldosound (Arley Collado) and the choreography to "trilogy" by kelis was made by Jeremy Buenaobra (PAC alum/Mavyn). You guys should know better than stealing a mix regardless of it was used for an audition. You cannot hide from anybody. You have lost the respect that PAC Modern has for all dancers and styles.
