i won't argue anymore. want to see this team compete in the upcoming intl cheerleading competition to be held in the phil this august, better yet in WCC in september or in cheerleading worlds.. for the meantime: congrats :)

@darcy0816 just to continue what i am saying: In my honest opinion, Cheerleading Asia Open International or WCC in Australia would be a better arena for asian cheerleading for teams to compete so as to determine which team or country is really the best. and besides, i supposed the fight between thai and malaysia in this championship is level 5 only where there are no head over hip tosses and 2.5 high pyramids. i prefer a fight for a level 6 division.

@MsAspenBaby No i am not. But its my opinion as a viewer and as a cheerleading enthusiast. Does it follow that one has to be a cheerleader before he/she gives his/her opinion? No, I don't think so.

@darcy0816 I watched the videos again and Malasyai had 11 running tumbling while Thai had 5/6. they also did triple toetouch and 2 man stunts and 4 kick doubles. and for the cheer part malaysia scored higher cos the crowd cheered as well. I can hardly understand what the thais were saying. But i have to admit Thais pyramid was awesome! but they didn't do so well on day 1.

@MsAspenBaby whoa, that's way technical. From my layman's point of view I really did think it was a close fight. Thailand was clearly more experienced and somewhat 'wowed' the crowd more. Alas, it all comes down to the technicalities. Glad our humble guys/gals won! CHARM can only get better and better! =)

@darcy0816 I'm not a cheerleader myself, but from what I know it is safer not to judge based on videos and especially if you have no idea how to judge professionally. Of course, a layman's point of view is very important, but let's not forget this is a professional competition with lots of technicalities involved. I have no idea why would anyone bother saying if this or if that, and which country is better than which. Can't we just enjoy videos of a competition that is already OVER and WON? =)

@darcy0816 Huh, why are you comparing? Cheerleading is relatively new in malaysia so this is already a good feat. Of course WCC is prestigious I'm sure. However, whether it is level 5 or 6 is not relevant. Being able to pull it off does.
