@MarjanQasemi14 Evolution isn't a cut and dry 'find and replace' function. If monkeys and apes are still good at mating and finding food there is no reason why they still shouldn't be here, we just branched off. For what purpose? Ever wondered why your feet look like warped hands? Thats because they are. Only now we don't use them for grasping, over time natural selection accommodated for our new hobby of walking upright by making our backhands longer and easier to balance and move on.

Its just not possible while taking into account the detoriation of modern genes because the process of natural selection doesnt work on modern community. The intelligent have lss children because of monetary purposes and the low IQ ones fail at birth control . Soon we may face the reality of the movie - idiocracy

History Channel is far from historically accurate. I study history and I've discovered so many errors and anachronisms already watching these series. I must say they're entertaining but the information given should never be taken for granted at all. Surprisingly Wikipedia is perhaps the nearest thing to accuracy the regular interested person could wish for. But then, these usually are just factual descriptions with little opinion on it.

@r9Maximus I've found the H-Channel to be the source of material for those who don't have an avid and keen interest in the solid history concerning the events in our past. I see it almost like how Hollywood remakes books, they take the best bits and twist them to make them something they aren't

@r9Maximus id say wiki is far more accurate than its given credit for, people want to put factual stuff onto and the crap is usually taken off so quickly people dont get misinformed so yeah id trust wiki far more than the history channel

Actually, the History Channel is the last place you want to go to for historical accuracy. Most scholars scoff at its lack of good research and its bias, limited views of the interviewed "experts." The HC provides a taste of history only, but it is a medium for the masses.

@sigilant Only if you expect historical accuracy as a necessary component of good art. Although there is certainly something said for truth in historical story telling, I believe this work to be much more of fiction than non, no?
