theheathmould - He wasn't walking a dog. AFAIK he didn't have one. Certainly no witness has ever said anything to suggest either of those things, including his neighbour Ruth Absalom who had hers with her when she met him, and mentions hers pulling at the lead, impatient to get moving.

No doubt about Blairs involvement. Robin Cook resigned over the attack on Iraq and was dead in weeks. Like kelly he was an honourable man ...... a dangerous thing in the British government these days.

And know this: when Dr David Kelly appeared before that comittee he was flanked by two Ministry of Defence Police. An MP tried to throw him a life line but he didn't take it. Then it was spun to look like the MP was attacking him. If he had admitted being the source he could have had protection. But perhaps being a family man meant not putting himself first.
