Wasteful. When bored, they spied my existence's talents, and beauties dissolved into nothing. Now only a self disgust that arches the will and disfigures the spine, can be seen here. A sickly allowance paid as price for a world gone wrong.
Ultimately, I am of the opinion that all of life must be personal to the person in question, whoever he / she is and whatever they think at any time in infinity.
That loads total responsibility onto that person but only for themselves and their thoughts and actions throughout life.
If you haven't got his book , definitely buy a copy! Its cheap at half the price and filled with ruminating thoughts like this one. Barry has a way of leaving you with a resonating thought that you remember at odd times of the day. He celebrates life as only a true poet and someone with a good hear can.
He is a poet for the ages. I'll be reading Barry's words when they cart me away..

Barry, This poem is lovely! You write beautifully and with great sensitivity, and you have captured the essence of what life is all about. We are like visitors here on earth. Sadly, nothing is forever. We all have a purpose. Each of us is given certain abilities and talents and it is up to each of us to make the most of what we have. What you say is true. Life is what goes on in our own minds.
Your "Unborn" poem is short but sweet. We're born, we pay a "visit" to the world. What did we leave behind? Memories of ourselves that others have of us. If we have children and granchildren, it keeps going on..and we have left a "future" behind us.
It will never be a popular theory but my belief about religion, scientific knowledge of the universe and everything connected with existance, ultimately becomes a personal thing by the individual.
Why?
Because we are all different and therefore everything must be personal.
Take it to it's extreme and you arive at " Life is you" and "you are life itself"

Maybe i'm too deep and my "bottom line"
theory needs dressing up to make it acceptable?

Talking about life itself BEING yourself...
It still isa tough concept to handle, but if it's the truth and reality what's the point in denying it?
I have to say i'm not happy with people against people constantly.
Nobody wins in the end so how stupid is that?
If we don't, somehow? get together as a group of vunerable people in the world and sort it all out, what will happen eventually?
Death for us all.
Selfish people do create that and it is a selfish world.
