Manny has good defense also. I have watched his last 4 fights in slow motion. He slips as he throws, keeps his hands up most of the time. He bounces in and out, and feints a good deal of the time. I would say 70% of the shots he takes are half blocked and while hes moving away taking some steam of those shots. This is why in his last 4 fights he doesn't get hurt really when taking shots. Flush shots only land when he squares up and is not moving. Or when hes not focused.

Floyd shouldn't have taken so much time off. Mentally he is there, but physically he can't stop Pacquiao. Yes, defense can win matches, however, if you've looked at Mayweather against southpaws he is much weaker at defense. In fact, his recorded knockdown was against a southpaw. Now he is up against a southpaw who is quick and unorthodox. I believe Mayweather will wear the straight left all night long.
