Thanks! I was the Lifeline. Still feel awful that I was not more help for Tom. Threw him in the wrong direction at the beginning and ran out of time to let him know I realized my mistake. Still, $16,000 is a lot of money!
Well..I read that he would've been right had he gone along with you..but of course, if you're not sure and you're out of lifelines, it would be wise to walk anyway.
Are you serious? That was hilarious, btw Ive always wondered, after the timer runs out, does it automatically hang up or do you just get dropped to like a rep that says sorry you ran out of time, best of luck to your friend, have a nice day.
I was curoius about that myself, even as it was all happening. Each contestant is assigned a producer who checks in with the lifelines, calls you, & then stays on the line with you after the 30 seconds are up. They let you listen to your friend and Regis talk and make a decision. It was a helpless feeling because I realized I threw him off at first. Felt terrible!

Well, next time, think more carefully. You could have helped Tom get to $32,000, where he wanted to be.
