Embarrassingly, I wasn't even aware of this concert until I found the video. I've loved REM ever since I first heard them. Now I love them even more.

Hope many Burmese were able to see it-as well as their shithead government 'leaders'.

I truly hope Aun Sang Suu Kyi has as much inner strength as Ingrid Bettancourt-and that her ludicrous incarceration due to a tireless, peaceful belief in basic human rights - orchestrated by gun-toting thugs - will end soon, and every bit as happily.
