How is being a CH53 Mechanic? i was looking at signing up as a MV-22 tilt-rotor mechanic if i score high enough. do you get deployed overseas and what is the average day?
@SketchyPeenut you wont be able to choose which aircraft you work on. im flightline so we do the most shit out there, but its alright. be prepared to work extremely long days, usually 12 hours. shitty pay, pretty hard work and you're constantly moving. At least that's how it is on our birds, they're called shitters for a reason, its constant maintenance
you'll do fine, remember 2 things 1 they cant touch you, 2 your not what they say... unless its good. and when they tell you to do as much as you can, you keep going tell you cant move, collapse from running, start drowning, collapse from push ups... etc. basic really aint to tough... im just wondering 1 thing... whats your asvab score
lol thats better then most, when i went in i scored a 83, my friend scored a 99... never really saw the point in the scores because they send you to school to learn what you need to learn... you'll do great in boot camp and in the school if you go to one good luck my friend

i was marine but... there was a problem with the last tour and well theres still debate on whether im getting medicaly discharged, if so i dont mind, if not ill be happy
