I dont like cherry much, it seems way to over used :P But i think you either have to go really dark or really light like the SG-X beach series.

If you use the amp's overdrive with a touch of reverb, this little marshall can do an "early AC/DC tone" with an SG. Give it a try. It sounds like Angus in "Let There Be Rock" :) so those early tones...

no offense taken but i first learned all these riffs about a few hours before. I'm a lot better now cuz i learned a nice amount of music theory so i can figure out anything on the fly, not to mention coming up with my own stuff. (Hope i dont sound to boastful but i just wanted to give you an idea of where im at.) Rock on....

gibson dirty fingers pickups will cost u about $150 but they are worth every penny that guitar sounds sweet as is though

Yeah I wouldve also its just that I hate Les Pauls. Its freakin ridiculously hard to reach the 21st and 22nd frets!!! Also its pretty bulky.

I also dislike les pauls. I like the look of them but the body shape makes the neck face down.

Yeah they look great and honestly get a pretty good sound but I think it is hard to get up to the higher frets on one.
