There are two histories of the world. The first is what is taught in schools and what the government tells it's citizens. The second is the history that the government knows.
I agree that Jerusalem was a placeholder rather than the actual name of the city in question, if the city even had a name at all rather than just 'the city' or 'the capital'. It is important to note that the word Jerusalem is in fact a religious epithet.
history is one big Semitic occult "science" and perversion... that's why also Fomenko's doubts. Most of "historical sources" were created by Jesuits after year 1600 in France...
@VendPrekmurec there ALL libraries were burnt to the ground (as in Alexandria) - and history (stories from Torah - by Jesuits ) was completely rewritten ...
Dr. Fomenko - Member of Academy of Sciences of the USSR in the department of mathematics. And he proved the incorrectness of our views that the traditional historical chronology is adequate to the real events earlier than 16-17 cent. At this time it was invented in Europe. and the history of mankind was written in retrospect ( of course in some political paradigma of some circles)
In the medieval engravings and paintings of the crucified Jesus on Calvary is always depicted on the background of the sea, but there is no sea near modern Jerusalem.
@vinllga read Dr Barbara Thierings book on the Dead Sea Scrolls, entitled 'Jesus the Man' That might explain things to you and maybe you'll stop beleiving the bullshit of a discredited man, trying to regain popularity. You Honestly think that human civilisation has advanced so much in 600 odd years?
euh? ok. Rien de nouveau, Same thing can be said about Rome. However, there is an actual Rome and Jerusalem as well as theoretical ones and wanna be's.

Modern Jerusalem is 50 km far from the sea. The Bible Jerusalem is Constantinople.
