hungarians are a mix and that's really interesting i find. really, some other european cultures should be doing the same as hungarians. they did a genetic test on germans to find out how "german" they really were and found out that 25 % german men have hun genes in them. its surprising to see what a genetic effect attila and his buddies had on eastern and even central europe. btw, that uyghur can speak good german. really cool. funny how its used for translation.

i like this for the sake of related cultures coming together, but what confuses me is that hungarians are not purely related to hun or turkic tribes. before the huns even arrived in the area it was populated by finno-urgian tribes which is noticeable in the language as well. and then there were also some fewer germanic tribes in the area.
