as of 1.0.0 you can put two working chests on top of each other by using a block behind it that you can place on

just 1 thing that camouflage with the stairs is smart but with your tecturepack you cant see its a large or small chest but with default or other tecturepacks you can see the difference the sides will not be the same so people will notice

so can you essentially lock and unlock chests by having sticky pistons push blocks on top of them to lock and pull them away to unlock. And then if your clever, and can make one of those password mechanisms, you can in effect password lock your chests :)

Cool idea having the chest on the side so it still a large chest eventhough you don't see it. And with the stairs above it's excellent camouflage ;p

I have started to get some ideas for my 1.8 LP series too .. all on paper at the moment ;p
