I never trade in games (only if I have a double then I "might" but usually I sell it on eBay) I keep all my games, I may want to play it again in a week or a year or whatever ? plus friends will often want to play a game they do not own & I can play there titles in return, trust me IMHO its better to just to keep your games,If you do decide to trade in? then don't complain about what you get for them, cos no one is holding a gun to your heads. my two cents.

I can,t stand Gamestop I was about to trade in Batman Arkham Asylum and Super Street Fighter 4 the guy at the counter said he would give me 7 bucks in cash for Batman and 12 for Super Street fighter 4 I was no thank you and when I was walking out of the store they had the same games on the wall and they was 28.00 dollars I was like I can,t stand Gamestop and walked out so im still trying to sell theses two games I tried E Bay and Craighslist already but no luck yet.

i know i traded in fight night champion 2 days after it came out cause i beat it and they give me 29 dollars. 2 days after!! i was so mad tht i took my friends broken xbox and gave it to them for 65 dollars haha

its odd cos people moan about the trade in value at Gamestop but I had a stall in my local market & I offered to beat by at least 25% any trade in price that Game * electronic Boutique offered & I could also sell new titles cheaper by a little as I had less overheads & no staff but I still had to close up after only 2 years, people are just not that bothered or else they would of come to me from around the london area,

There was a service on the internet in the late 90's that allowed you to trade . Music , gaming, and movies ... but it went our of business. I can't remember what it was called, but I love the concept. I'll give switchgames a shot

The reason is because Gamestop doesn't know what you've done at home with the game. Some people copy the games and sell it back so why would Gamestop pay you ALOT for a game you might have possibly just copied and sold back. Yeah, pirates for the loss. They ruin everything, this is why we have craigslist.
