People are hard on him because of the way the media follows Notre Dame. Plus he didn't have a good enough supporting cast around him to beat teams like Michigan, LSU and USC.

Actually, he was 2-1 vs. Michigan. His first game was when he came in the fourth quarter of the 2003 game when Michigan led by 30.
