  • what a hoot that must be to play!

  • Your playing never ceases to amaze me Donald! As stated, those triplet runs are HUGE!

  • I've watched this a dozen times now. How on earth are you doing those rapid trains up the neck?! Are those the 'triplets' you speak of?

  • Yep, just eighth note triplets (i.e., three eighth notes played in the space of two). Usually played as a strike on the string on a beat followed by 2 hammers, pulls, or a combination evenly spaced before the next beat.

  • Goodness knows, you make them sound easy. I don't think I've ever seen them, or heard them before (or, at least, not that fast).

    They are awesome.

  • great to see new content zep, ..i wonder.. any chance of a short vid on exactly how you do that?

  • You're a Fiend! Here I am, trying my best to learn to be a good banjo player off you, then you put in these evil, wicked super-fast triplets perfectly executed!

Oh well it's back to the drawing board for me!

  • Holy cow, those 16th(?) note runs are amazing.

  • Nope, just eighth notes triplets. :-) Thanks, though!

  • WOW thank you very much Zepp I appreciate your music and the banjo i had bought from you the derring "old tyme senator" thanks for being an inspiration.
