i am used to a much more realistic game. i can tell you for a fact no plane flys like the ones in Hawx, not even the real life counterparts. missles are hard to doge, but not impossible like that one missle in theis game.
well as long as u have reliable flares and the missile is heat guided it shouldnt be too hard, although dodging the standard JS missiles is pretty easy without them. the ERS doesnt help usually except on the F117 nighthawk mission on the campaign, but the assistance off mode is a POS in the way that its unrealistic, but besides, this is meant to be an arcade simulator. u cant expect everything to be realistic, and if u like realistic flight sims just get FSX.

I enjoyed this game - the story was quite good and it all looks quite nice. Although I did feel that the insane amounts of ammunition (even on the hardest setting) made it a bit too easy. The A10 was fun to fly around in spraying things with the cannon :D

Gonna get this game, I love flying virtual aircraft and not having to do shit like reloading and refueling, just flying around like an asshole! Yes, too bad some series actually make you land! Take-off is fun, but landing in these kind of games is BS, I always overshoot the runway.
Looking at all you guy complaining about the game makes me lol. I prefer a game that gets me straight in the action, is'nt to complicated and has team deathmatch and a great coop gameplay. Graphics look better than ace combat especially the ground at closups unlike ace combat 6 where the ground replicates Atari's Tomcat ground graphics That was a real turn off in Ace Combat 6, fuking aweful textures when you close the ground. Dogfights at high altitude are good though.
F-35 's cockpit looks better than F-22 that means that the cockpit of F-22 is not real as not many civilians know what it looks like besides i like the F-35 more than F22 well just in this game as F-35 locks on better... but stelth stuff definately F22.... the control is out of this world if you have played the last mission you will know what i am talking about

This actually happened and showed that the f22 f35B lacked in manuaverability, firepower and speed. During the combat not one of the Su35's were shot down but all the F22 and f35's were down.
there are questions about the reliability of the russian radars and BVRs... well i thought they were good but are you aware of the indian SU30MKI... SU35s are not that diffrent or even inferior in terms of radars as french and isrealis have worked on this version as india only one off and it was used against the americans in the war games this was the first time americans got to do a real life exercises with the planes listen to what they had to say watch?v=FlJndMO1O80&feature=related
I think you might might be interested to note that the SU30 MKI have had their Russian avionics and a fair amount of Russian gear removed and replaced with Western gear making it the most advanced version of the SU27 series (SU30 is the export version of this aircraft)
In the latest Red Flag exercises the USAF have found that all those slick maneuvers with TVC has a down side..You sacrifice speed and altitude which can make extremely vulnerable as the Indians found out with their Su30MKIs.

bought this game last week.its very good.i didnt think it was gonna be anywhere near as good as it was.if you play it on elite its VERY, hard.some levels toook me hours to complete and it drives you insane, and oviously as you progress it gets harder.but i was screaming in anger when id mess up and you gotta do the whoolleee level again/.its not easy.great controls.very fun on live.shame you cant do 2 player with your mates tho.but this game is SICKKK..

It's pretty much Ace Combat in HD with an good storyline. Also there is a leveling system where you gain XP and unlock new jets and new payloads for your jets by leveling.
Gamepad definetly. Its great I play it with a Original xbox controler I changed to USB. Its awesome. But im getting a joystick and Im going to see how well that works. But yay for hawx I modded my demo so i can use more planes and play co-op over hamachi.
this game does not look good, i liked the warhawk style of flying only because of the plane tricks you could do, but this game does not offer this capability

I think you might might be interested to note that the SU30 MKI have had their Russian avionics and a fair amount of Russian gear removed and replaced with Western gear making it the most advanced version of the SU27 series (SU30 is the export version of this aircraft)
In the latest Red Flag exercises the USAF have found that all those slick maneuvers with TVC has a down side..You sacrifice speed and altitude which can make extremely vulnerable as the Indians found out with their Su30MKIs.

yeah but they are not really going to use em its like a last resort plane which will work with mig bisons and localy developed HAL tejas planes which are light, cheap, fast and manuverable... this plane was built to tackle F16's of pakistan and J10's of china personally i dont give any respect to the J10 program... i think they are garbage... but the F16's were always a worry for them... they had MIg 29's but i doubt that they could have dominated the F16's but pakistan has about 30-45 F16's

HAHAHA.....are you talking about the one down by bunch of civvies who know next to nothing about air combat and have never sat in a cockpit. The very same computer simulation which was using incomplete info about the F35 (considering a lot of it's capabilities are still classified along with the F22)? I think you really need to get out more often because that simulation was later proven to be a pile of shit as never reflected the level of training and combat tactics that would used either.

bought this game last week.its very good.i didnt think it was gonna be anywhere near as good as it was.if you play it on elite its VERY, hard.some levels toook me hours to complete and it drives you insane, and oviously as you progress it gets harder.but i was screaming in anger when id mess up and you gotta do the whoolleee level again/.its not easy.great controls.very fun on live.shame you cant do 2 player with your mates tho.but this game is SICKKK..

i presonally love warhawk on ps3 cause the fact its online brings a challenge and the flight is a bit unlike most other games. it takes getting used to, it also has ground combat as well so there's a plus

It's pretty much Ace Combat in HD with an good storyline. Also there is a leveling system where you gain XP and unlock new jets and new payloads for your jets by leveling.

Gamepad definetly. Its great I play it with a Original xbox controler I changed to USB. Its awesome. But im getting a joystick and Im going to see how well that works. But yay for hawx I modded my demo so i can use more planes and play co-op over hamachi.

COD4 is good - but i found it to be far too easy... to sum it up:
grenade spamming noobs everywhere, the real elite stick to bullets and a well placed grenade on occasion.
To do well? pff learn to control the eb and flow of the battle and you'll rack up kills faster than a african warlord running into a refugee camp with an itchy trigger finger.
I love these retards who think the next installment of CoD is somehow different from the last.
Thank god Operation Flashpoint 2 is out soon.

yes im serious. in CoD4 everyone is a bunny hopping twat. and the weapons SUCK. i mean a barret 50cal SNIPER rifle doesnt kill u with a head shot just because you have juggernaut on. LAME!!!!! at least in CoD WaW when you shoot someone in the head they die.

I still don't get what you dont like about it the weapons are fatal. In hardcore atleast and that's the only thing really worth playing. Bunny jumping dosn't occur where i play because players need to focus they'r aiming to avoid getting killed. And i love the way the used the flash grenades :)
But hey if you don't like it its your loss imo.
