The true cost could be €158million in one year, after officials admitted that education, social welfare, and health will also have to paid for and are not included in that cost.
Meanwhile our own Irish ppl - cancer patients, disabled ppl, respite care for seriously ill children who need 10million a year in Leinster - are deprived healthcare. Africans and Arabs come here, using our resources, not giving a damn how it affects us.

people just want someone to blame and direct their anger and frustration, instead of looking into the root causes of recession. politicians can solve the worlds problems. stope electing them! stop voting!

It's true that the recession is an inevitable consequence of a deeply flawed economic system. However the solution isn't to stop voting! It's about voting in the right people. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, in Ireland there isn't any party running in the forth coming election with any viable answers to the mess we're in.
