This man is a star. He's a showman, not a poser. Saw him recently in Holmfirth and as soon as he finished his set he dumped the guitar and walked through the crowd and spent time with his fans. A really nice guy and what a talent!
I have seen that tour here in Canada and during all of Jeff Healey's solo the band would bring the sound down(just like they did during this video)and Sayce would play all the loud part.Jeff did a horrible solo on this one but he used to be as loud as Sayce way back when he started. I guess he mellowed down quite a bit as he grew older.I also remember seeing him drink tons of beer during the gig.
This guy is all about showing off, and his singing is actually irritating....Jeff on the other hand has the goods....naturally...he doesn't need to be an SRV wannabe....
I don't like this Philip guy, sorry. He sure can play, and there's a few bits him playing here that I actually like. I prefer Jeff to Sayce. Jeff just doesn't need to prove anything. He just plays what he feels, not what everyone wants to hear.
@gbsnp123 this is a long time ago, you should listin to some of his solo stuff from more recent times, he is younger here, and jeff kinda let him out of the bag, so hes kinda giving it all hes got before he has to go back in the cage, he blew my mind when i saw him live, hes not for everybody, but if this is all youve heard, its not a fare representation
Sorry, I've heard him more than this and more recent videos also, but I just think he is a poser. But that's my honest opinion. Somebody would say SRV was a poser and didn't feel it but I love him. It's all matter of taste.
ya it is, its all good man no hard feelings or anything, back when Stevie started doing his thing, people called him a Jimi Hendrix rip off, maybe one day people will look past that with Philip
Can anyone tell me what song this is?

I guess that placing here a "negative" point of view 'bout the gut with white Strat would be too disappointing, right? I'll just say, zzZZZZzzzzz...
The same for all of those that don't take roots a little further. "Imitate, don't innovate"

Hilarious singing by the dude with the long hair . Mr Healey is a legend , why he let that lame SRV clone onstage is beyond me .
