  • i've read all ur comms and none of u have sed nothin bout changin things ova der, or just givin a little. Ppl u can spend thousands on musicians or just to hear their names on theatre or music i swear even a penny would change then kids lifes. Peace 2 ma country in which i keep on havin faith.

  • My parents divorced then abandoned me here... any one else realised the mistake in translation at 2:05... should've stated that My munm went off to Point Noir(name of a Place in Congo Brazzaville)and Left me behind or left me hereto be more specific.

Divorce rate in Africa is low then europe coz man are allowed to have more then one wife. as long as u can provide for them! Some ppl might disagree but i know and its my opinion... u have urs.

  • I went there last september and heading there soon again. Yeah I have seen street kids, but this documentary is very geared to scare people. There are starving kids in USA and if anyone went to Detroit, it ain't far behind Kinshasa. The difference is that Detroit is far more violent. So it's nice to speak about DRC, but look at our shit in our own backyard

  • @alyr315" Detroit is far more violent than Kinshasa" nigga what the hell you smokin on to have such an idiotic belief. Detroit is paradise compared to the violence in Kinshasa, so don't think you can come and tell us lies over the internet nigga. And this shit is real, it isn't made to scare anyone but to make people realize what is truly going on.

  • woooow

i didntthink it was liked this

    i was raised in kinshasa

and my family was a bit rich so

i lived a good life in congo

until i came to the uk

but i have heard stuff about war and stuff in congo but it never really effected me

i wanna go bck to congo 1 daii when im older its a beautiful countrey i loove my countrey!!

  • Kinshasa is not bad, ik mean yeah sum places are horribel but not evrywhere in Kinshasa, Please...

  • where can I see the full documentary? I'm congolese and I have heard horrible stories about street children in Congo :-(

  • Click the link to the maker's website in "About This Video" - above right. You may have to click "more" first to see the link.

  • Ah yes, and the billion dollars of foreign aid provided to Mobutu by the United States and select other Western countries simply because he took a staunch anti-communist stance played no role in condition DR Congo today.

The West's aid to Mobutu's regime is well documented and its implications were far-reaching (Mobutu's rule was by and large sustained only by the external aid he received).

It's ignorant to assume internal problems have no external causes.

  • no video is complete without the mandatory blaming of the west... sese seko was/is as corrupt as 90% of all african leaders, friend or not to the west. your couped out countries dont know diplomacy and think violence is the way to get what you want. because of that, you'll always be stuck the way you are. so while you sit there and hate the west, you also ask for hand outs. im as sick of it as you are but realistically, its not going to change any time soon.

  • thx 4 dis

    :-(

  • Thank you for this documentary, it help us (a little) people from congo, not be forgotten!

  • 2 of my friends grew up in Kinshasa...

  • good thing you told us! thumbs up buddy

  • Dear Hlordz301 try to speak more polite, Please help spread the word about what is happening to these children in Kinshasa

  • before speaking about a country that you know nothing of,,,do the research, and make sure your brain is in gear before engaging your mouth

  • ist die volle dokumentation hier irgendwo bei you tube zu sehen?

  • who told that shit ..Mobutu killed him ... it was during kennedy time .. John F kennedy was ver disappointed ... you should the movie calles PATRIC LUMUMBA

  • yea ur right i saw that movie. then kabila took over the country after a coup. then in 2001 they killed kabila and placed his so called son as president. it is a big mess

  • yeah but who was behind Mobutu's empowerement? The US government. so Nopember is kinda right. The US wanted Mobutu to become THE leader.

  • A retired senior CIA said it himself in a documentary.i quote " it was decided by the United Stated that Lumumba should have been politically removed if not not physically". Lumumba bothered them because he was very "anti-colonialist" "and pro-soviet".Mobutu was smater and declared himself as pro-west,that's why they used him as his puppet and put him up there.I can go on and on ...it's all politics.

  • Mobutu def was not smarter...Lumumba was buildin the Congo to be an Independent Nation, then expand borders incorperating other countries not taking over,he was apart of the movement toward Pan Africanism..Mobutu was not smart because didnt care about his people and cared more for riches

  • da was touch foul
