@ihaveabox the amount of air in your lungs. focus your body downward more when you kick, or let out a little bit of air. you should be able to do 25 under waters easy with fins.
@nomisairsoft The most I've ever swum underwater is 30m. That was using the hyperventilate before you breathe in technique that's allowed me to double my breath holding time by storing extra oxygen in the blood. I didn't have any tail device to enhance efficiency. It was an underwater breast stroke kick then tuck in etc
@TimpBizkit hyperventilation dose not (!!!) increase oxygen levels in the blood but is reducing CO2 levels which is pushing the urge to breath. It is also responsible for the shallow water blackout as your body dose not react to the fact that you are diving.
I should stress you better stop hyperventilating and never ever dive allown!
tha'ts a nice kick... he looks like a mermaid

I've done a 50 underwater, no hyperventilating, no fins. It was hard as heck and I felt like I was going to faint afterwards...

@NitramRellim Well I don't go to the point of feeling faint..
It's usually about 10-20 fast breaths in and out followed by one deep breath in and under the water holding breath, blowing out a few bubbles as I go
TimpBizkit 1 year ago
@nomisairsoft giving up smoking is allways a good thing and 50m is quite impressive after 3 weeks of training.
