If it were me, because I'm cooler than you (haha j/k), I'd run turndowns on the mufflers. I'm one of those few Foxbody guys you'll run into that hates tailpipes on these cars.

Built 302, sound comes with the motor.

what you running for exhuast ,headers muffs, h or x pipe?

Exhaust setup is BBK long tubes to BBK O/R H pipe to dynomax bullets and flowmaster tail pipes.

Sounds nice. Not to racey, but nice. Sounds real nice on the rev to, snappy little animal.

The early Cobra's were actually my favorite of the foxbody stangs. Kind of most unique to me.

yeah man it looks real clean, its just that i love 79-83 mustangs with 306 or anything sweet like that and leaving the body how it is with original old rusty paint, its weird but yeah, your car looks real nice

Haha if you like that, check out my '82 5.0! Almost finished with the new motor. It's got SpeedPro pistons, moly rings, ported heads, Crane 130092 cam (same as E-303 for hydraulic flat-tappet motors) shorty headers, full 2.25" duals with flowmasters, pulleys, MSD, electric fans, Edelbrock 600 cfm carb, Performer intake manifold etc. It has the 4 speed trans and I put an 8.8" rear with 3.27s in it.

Damn I love this car... had a 79' Capri 5.0, and an 86' GT along with my current 07.

And a few bowties in between. My mustangs have the most sentimental value.
