I think marijuana should be made legal for only certain groups of people. For example, it should be kept illegal for black people. I think legalization will be a reality one day in America. I think people are being more and more exposed to pot culture (albeit very gently) and thus are also being given different perspectives as opposed to only what the government wants us to believe. I believe you're correct. The Temperance Movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries that was successful in their push for Prohibition was, at their core, a Christian movement. I believe that opium was the first drug to be banned, followed by heroin, each during the time of the Temperance Movement's huge influence on the government.
