@WildnCrazeh closer to the bridge(sul ponticello), the sound produced is more metallic and sharp. Playing closer to the neck(sul tasto) the sound produced is mellow and gentle(dolce). A classical guitar naturally produces a mellow sound compared to a steel string guitar, but a classical guitarist can produce a surprising range of sound whilst playing any note simply by moving his right hand's position when appropriate.
