  • it looks like it is sick,,, mange or rabies.

  • Nova Scotia has recently started a cull on Coyotes. 20$ per pelt.

As a resident of Nova Scotia, I am disgusted. They are only moving into our territory because we have stripped away their land and food resources. It isn't their fault and we are the ones to blame. Please send your messages to the Canadian/ N.S Government and plead that the brutal killings of this animal is stopped.

It is not only awful for the animal, but dangerous for other humans and animals present.

  • u should have called animal control if you knew it had fresh wounds

  • I would be like, Let's domesticate it

  • This animal would attack children beware.

  • Eaglecreekbrewer is just another killer trying to justify his thrill for killing by making these things look like the enemy. Most people like him have names. They are called rednecks, white trash, and inbreds. They usually have IQ's between 50 and 70 and never finished 6th grade, their father had to take them out of school to help shot animals because they can't afford food in the grocery store. They take guns in the woods and kill everything that moves. idiots. Coyotes are totally harmless.

  • Coyotes aren't dangerous, unless you are and idiot and go running at him with a stick and yelling at him....

  • Coyotes will take your pets. When you're not looking. I take them out when they cross my prop.

  • A #2 foot hold trap will stop him, then you could just club him. You might want to put up a fence before that pup grows a bit and decides to chew on your kid. They aren't so cute when that happens.

  • what!? that is soo cruel put up a fence like u said to and it will help but don't kill it.

  • While Coyotes definitely aren't Naturally Tame they're usually about as scared as you as you are of them.

  • The problem is when they're NOT scared of you, which this one may be on his way to becoming.

  • Or just put a 125 grain broadhead through the lungs!

  • Yeah, kids are way less cute after they've been chewed on by coyotes!

Oh wait, coyotes don't chew on kids.

  • ahahah, another moron that doesn't realize these are actually WILD animals. You really should look into to some actual facts. Coyotes have and are known to attack children and pets in areas they are allow to habituate with humans.

  • I'm far from a moron. I know they're wild animals, but I can see hysteria for what it is: founded in ignorance. Sure they attack pets- I never said they didn't. But kids? I don't think so. I suppose a rabid coyote might, but it is very unlikely.

  • Well, you should take a few minutes a look up some facts. There are just such reports and they are easily found.

If you have so much confidence, leave your kid around an assimilated coyote.

  • Eaglecreek- don't look now, but...THERE IS A COYOTE BEHIND YOU!! Ha sorry man. I'll wait while you go change your pants. Look, you can be scared of coyotes, wolves, or your own shadow for all I care. It's really no skin off my back, although it is a shame that the ignorance of people like you poses a risk to these animals. Seriously- why the fear? I took your advice, looked up some stats and confirmed what I already knew- coyote attacks on humans are so rare as to be statistically non-existant.

  • Scared? hahaha, that's golden, hell, I love predators, I kill as many as I can. They are actually a real challenge to hunt. Trust me, you would shit yourself in half the situations I've been in with bears. But the fact remains, a habituated predator is a dangerous one, if you had a real knowledge of them, you would understand it.

  • I know you fools hate reality, but check you inbox for a story of a canadian woman killed by your tame coyotes. I would love to post the link here, but YT prevents it, so I guess you'll just have to be shamed in private.

  • A #2 foot hold trap would stop him, then you could just club it. You might want to put up a fence before that pup grows a bit and decides to chew on your kid. they aren't so cute when that takes place.

  • because it wasn't found in the south

  • There's a real "animals were here long before humans were" sentiment in our area.

  • and why did you not shoot it

  • In our neighborhood, there's such dense housing (lots are about 6000-7000 sqft) that a gun-toting homeowner would run a high risk of hitting an unintended target. Additionally, I believe there are laws against discharge of a firearm within our city limits (mostly urban-suburban neighborhoods).

  • Use a bow, thats what I do. Good practice too.

  • @3girlsandaguy I'm no expert but I think you can buy bullets that are designed not to escape walls. You can shoot at the animal only if you or your pet are in immediate danger. I would just stick my dog on it. LOL
