The takeoff was beautiful and amazing to capture it on video from that angle... Played around with RC towing a bit over the last 25 years... The last time was with a foam wing behind a standard .40cu Scanner Rc... used "Velcro" fastener for both ends of the tow release... Worked a treat (the KISS principle)... don't know if it would work for these larger models... the trick is to climb like a homesick angel once established in a good stable position after takeoff.
No it can, try 3d giant rc planes, and u will see u can doo lot more things than a real plane, but offcourse it's not as fun as a real plane...
Anyway u can now buy FPV and fly in first person, u can make a complete and cool dashboard for the plane, and it's almost like flying a real plane, + it has head tracker, so u move ur head the camera will move...
+ with rc u can be all day flying with friends, each one has like 2 3 or more planes, u can fight with combat wings...
Absolutely awesome! I really appreciate the effort put into this, the views and attention to detail were excellent. I just had my first aerotow by a pawnee the other day, my sister caught it on her phone's camera, please check it out if you have time.

Do you have a towline release mechanism in the Pawnee?
I'm thinking of buying this model for towing purposes.

Incredible footage, love the glider perspective!
Glad to hear that the plane is okay tough, those things cost enough money as it is :p

FANTASTIC flight !
The plane with the camera, has it got a motor ?

Aerotowing means that a motor plane tows a glider. So the rear plane with the camera is a glider without an engine.

Fantastic video, especially the winter landscape. I hope, the new Pawnee is alright. I'm looking forward to see other videos from aviatorsbh.

Na, trainierst wohl Dein Englisch? Die Pawnee blieb erstaunlicherweise unversehrt, wie auch im Video erwähnt!
