The Dorians and the Achaeans combined to become the Greeks, they were as close as Welsh and Irish. Keep in mind that the best way your argument can have reliability against my language would be if you learned how to speak Albanian, and you can truly judge it for yourself. Yes, the Dorians were influenced by Greeks. Like the Arvanite are nowadays. History repeats itself. The dorians were those renegade Illyrians who not being compatible with the Illyrian culture, immigrated to the south. Greeks and Illyrians never fought with each other. I know that universities still continue to use it but this does not add anything of its value. The centum/satem has relative value since many empirical proofs dispute it (for example Tocharian is Centum in a traditional Satem region).

@luboteni As for Colin Renfrew u are totally wrong! Mr Renfrew not only suppoort the idea of the satem-centum languages but he was the one that he prooves that there are no geographical limits in these languages! Ok look what he have wrote:

1) Colin Renfrew saw to everyone that centum/satem theories are correct and they have no geographical limits!
2)There are no traditional Satem regions or Centum as u wrote
3)If a theory is a basic lesson in universities then its value is infinity! Universities are the batteries of the civilization! If u don't admire their work and the things that they teach, its your right and it is ok! But i must remind u that if there were not universities, we would be primitives in caves! bye

Where did I say that universities aren't the batteries of civilization? I just want to highlight that not everything that circulate in curriculum lessons of universities is proper since the science is continuously evolving. That's why we have not reason to believe in every theories only because they're "official". But I won't keep conversation for something that is competence of linguists. My point is that centum/satem is not the last word in determining of one language's descent!

@luboteni Ι said that universities are the batteries of civilization! And this wasn't a blame! Furthermore curriculum lessons are proper! And on these proper thesis science base its evolution! Even if the evolution of science means the death of the old theories! Anyway modern science accepts centum and satem languages even if these theories are painful for some people and nations! I agree that satem/centum is not the last word of language's descent, but u have to know and that there are facts!

@luboteni None can deny them without scientific evidences! So until someone brings new theories that will prove wrong satem/centum theory, this theory will stay real and the only truth! After all who can deny what universities say and teach!

illyrians have no connection with dorian, this is a fact, anyone can spread theories and has the right to make up a theory but untill its proved it will remain theory and not history.
p.s. it is known that athens was build by pelasgians and athenians considered themselves as pelasgians and true hellenes

Of course, there is some Illyrian blood in Dorian people, since one of the main Dorian tribes was called Hylleis, which is related undoubtly with HYLL in alb. mean "the star". There are even a lots of common words between two peoples, which are preserved in todays Albanian.

Albanians are more then illyrians they are pelasgians..and all other tribes are from the same race..Albanians are just the closest connected to pelasgo-thracian-illyrians and they still speak the ancient pelasgian language
