@LUVB6CPPgmodcsscoder That is because with my old camera the arcs used to cause interference. Plus this driver would only drive it at around 15khz or so which is well within human hearing range.
iv noticed if you soak your transistor in vegtable oil or transformer old your transistor will last longer and you can increase the voltage to about 18v without frying anything
@davethehunter2 I have mine mounted on a heat sink and it stays cool enough for short 30 second max runs, but I will keep that in mind if I ever need to use it for longer burst.
EWW sounds way to bad, i has a studio headphones wich go to 28 khz
